Honestly both are the same. Its the same mindset, just different platforms.
The best thing for them to do is turn that shite off. It sucks people in. This was after 9/11, but I remember this girl whose grandmother lived down the street from me. We had become friends, but I remember she telling me that since 9/11 her grandmother would leave the TV on CNN all day... And when anyone went visit her it was as if the world was burning.
That's what happens today, but on a larger scale. People consume news all day, whether its notifications or checking twitter or FB, people are now getting this information as soon as it happens. Stuff goes on all day long, but hearing about it all day long can make things seem dark.
Everyone thinks the world is going to hell in a hand basket. If you were only fed the good things people do, you would think people are better than the human race has ever been.
Politicians, media.. They want everyone to live in fear. Because if you are living in fear you consume the news more. And the more people consuming means more views, more clicks, etc.
And more people vote when they live in fear or think that its important they go vote for whatever side they support because if the other side gets elected everything will go to shite. The ultra conservatives are scared the ultra liberals are going to take over and destroy the country, the ultra liberals think the same thing about the ultra conservatives.
It really is all a bunch of bullshite. And if people would just understand this, they can stop consuming all the bullshite as much as they do and the world will not feel like society is on the verge of collapsing.

I’ll go a bit further. What do you think they are pushing in the college campuses? It’s not fjb. It’s frick Donald Trump. Yeah you hear that in sec stadiums, but not from the professors.
I still remember my last business law class and my white liberal teacher says we don’t even have five years left until climate catastrophe. And of course I couldn’t question her, I had to pass her class to graduate.
And do you really think the way the left treated people who supported Trump there wouldn’t be an equal reaction when Joe Biden showed his arse?
