Bwahaha at "Intelligent design".
Why do men have nipples?
Why is the playground of the human body located in the same area as waste disposal?
Why do humans have an appendix, tonsils and adenoids?
Why are knees and stomach muscles so weak compared to what a truly intelligent design would be?
Come on. Grow up.

Hypothetically, VonDäniken aliens visited the planet 200Kyrs ago. They genetically altered an african Homo Erectus population giving rise to Homo Sapiens to serve as a trainable slave race. Then they had to leave. The genetically altered sapiens, jump started to the most advanced life on the planet, takes over. In terms of God, rinse and repeat.
Our fossil record would present identically.

Gladly. You are intellectually dishonest at best and are taking him out of context.

Not MY book. You never gave it a fair chance, you let the actions of men poison you. But I hope that one day you will overcome that.

Again... This doesn't surprise anyone. It's going from a new species of Finch that has minor changes on break size or color to some new unimagined animal with new organs and body parts. I know the retort is just give it enough time and it will happen...
Ya how long does it take for a species to evolve into an entirely new clade right? Or more importantly if evolution is real why are there only 6 evolutionary "kingdoms"

I haven’t personally looked into the soft tissue surviving millions of years
I didn't claim anything. I just stated what was found. Explain it away. How has soft tissue survived the test of time? My only argument is evolution can not be proved. I have argued the time line of human existence by asking people to google charts of human population growth. It is right in front of you. Humans have not been on this planet for over a millions years. Mathematically impossible. Numbers don't lie.

You don't understand how science works. "Proof" is for Math.
Evolution can definitely and has been "proven". Genetics ended any doubt whatsoever. Evolution is a fact.
There is literally no debate, within the biologic scientific community, on whether evolution takes place. There are minor debates on mechanism and such but thats far beyond your grasp.

This particular insane argument is by far the dumbest one that you people have come up with. It has been so thoroughly debunked that I don't even know what to say about it.
You realize that populations grow with advances in technology, correct? Tools develop. Fire. Medicine. Society. Order. Agriculture. Etc etc.
Sigh.

I laugh every time I see that stupid human populations argument, straight out of AnswersinGenesis.
It is so laughably dumb its almost hard to wrap my head around.

Yes.
The basic argument is that humans began millions of years ago, based on "growth rates", that we would have more people.
They like to throw out a human growth rate of .5% for some arbitrary reason.
First of all, the human growth rate from 1000AD to 1800AD was .1227%, far less than the one they infer.
Second if you do the math and trace from a population of 8 around the time Noah supposedly existed, there would be like 89,000 people in the world around 400BC, which is completely absurd.
It assumes static growth rates, and completely discounts WHY populations change, diminish or explode:
War, famine, societal developments, and more than anything: Tools, Agriculture, Industrialization, Medicine.

Population growth rates are NOT consistent. If they were, the planet would be absolutely overrun with every creature imaginable. There would be no resources left to sustain anything, no room to walk around.
Whoever led you down the path of estimating the length of human history by looking at a population chart is a liar and a manipulator. Their goal was to deceive you into believing something that is absolutely not true, in order to control you.
You should be more skeptical of those who try to control you by withholding knowledge, and less skeptical of those who wish to free you by giving you knowledge.

The first time I encountered that argument on here years ago I had to sit and think about it for awhile because I was so baffled by its stupidity.
I've seen it argued in almost every thread on here since then. It is one of the staple AnswersInGenesis arguments.
Really bizarre. There are quite a few right out of the playbook, all are so easily debunked its almost not even worth typing.

I just don't know why anyone would even assume a constant growth rate in population. It makes no sense. You'd think making that claim would make the average middle schooler raise their eyebrows.
