At the zygote stage there is a genetically unique, individual human life.

Right so you err on the side of intelligence and rationality in a world rather than just trust God.

Trust God is correct. No murder. Ever.

And what % of zygotes reach viability?

How many even reach implantation?

I'm never going to have to make a decision on an abortion so I don't have to rely on either, technically.

However, my political policy preference doesn't overlap with this in any way.

You would be wise to err on the conservative side. Conception is a miracle by any standard.

Quit being obtuse. If you believe in God, stand with Him. If you don't, man-up and take your chances.

Do you think these kind of technicalities are something that the Lord looks kindly on?

I don't have to err on any side because I'll never be able to make that decision.

It changes the opinion for lots of people.

You don't get to just universally create facts. That's framing, again.

So supporting a political position like for abortions in certain situations, but being against abortion personally is OK?

Sure, but what I said is fact.

I didn't create that fact. I read it in a human prenatal development textbook.

You can frame this all you want, but you're ignoring the larger point, which isn't shocking since you have to fall back to your framing

It's not framing. It's reality. The baby is a human being from the moment of conception.

Yes, I bring back this post:

quote:

Adultery is immoral, and I think it's immoral. Who on here is proposing that we should expand the state in our lives and adultery should become a criminal matter?

Am I going to be judged by God because I don't think adultery shouldn't be illegal, even though I am not engaging in adultery myself (and think its immoral)?

You are naïve if you think a God-fearing person can separate their faith from their world view. Those who can might have a problem explaining that to God one day.

SFP, don't worry buddy, just keep doing what you do. You can handle the consequences, I'm sure.

Yes you will be.

Look idk what political/religious persuasion you are but believing in one thing personally and saying that you don't support it publicly is called being a hypocrite...parrticularly when you know it's immoral and tell people you don't care
