Your ilk just doesn't understand how the real world operates. If you are my age and believe the things you post you will die very disappointed. Wake up snowflake and get on the train.
We are trying to preserve what once made us great, not create a fairytale world where everyone gets trophies and apologizes for winning.

Are you pretending to not be liberal?

I'm not seeing it. Why the outrage?

You should read the entire transcript or watch the video before commenting. It was clearly an "I won because I'm white and you should have won, but you are black" speech.
This is a complete fabrication, literally nothing about her speech or that article so much as hints at this.
It was one artist saying she believed another artist's album was better. It may have been a hollow platitude, but she said NOTHING about it being racially related.

They both suck, but Adelle actually has some marginal talent in that she can actually carry a tune.
I don't care for most of her music, but Adele undeniably has an INCREDIBLE voice. It's one of the best, most commanding singing voices ever and almost nobody disputes that.
Beyoncé is very meh, both her music and her vocal talent

The OP is definitely reaching with his interpretation of her speech. I'm just wondering why everyone pretends like Beyonce is some once-in-a-generation artist.

Somewhere along the way in the last 3-4 years, Beyonce has reached "above any criticism" status.
And you don't even have to really criticize her work or music...if you admit to not liking it around the wrong people, you get a 5-minute lecture about why you're wrong.
Annoying af tbh

Yep, wanting to see things that aren't there. People are going apeshit

Lemonade is a terrible, race-baiting album using the backdrop of cultural appropration of Louisiana's culture and its natural disasters to paint a picture of black struggle.

This generation of people is the most absolute cowardly group of invertebrates the world has EVER known, and I do mean EVER!!!!!!
Never before in the history of humanity have we had such an incredibly spineless group of self loathing arse kissers, and never has it been more fashionable to BE an actual arse kisser than today.

Well it's obvious that I'm the only one who sees a racial component in this.
Huffington Post

Racial component =/= apologizing for white privilege. Adele was just trying to prevent black outrage.
Don't give them white outrage.

the way you make my black friends feel, is empowering. And you make them stand up for themselves.

I thought you guys didn't give a shite about celebrities' opinions??
Yet here we are 7 pages later. It must be miserable getting offended by everything all the time

Even the liberal Huffington Post is saying the black woman got robbed and I've got buffoons up in here saying that Adelle wasn't somehow following this mindset?!

Most everyone that follows music felt Beyonce's album was going to win. I don't think Adele thinking the same thing, and giving props to Beyonce in her acceptance speech, indicates any sort of white privilege. This is quote a stretch you're trying to make here.

Speaking of shite.... It stinks, and is offensive. So are kiss asses who hate themselves simply for having the wrong skin color, something NOBODY, neither black nor white has ANY choice in in the first place. Its not who you are. It's just a fricking box that holds the real prize inside.
The entire entitlement argument, be it we owe you or you owe us thing is so incredibly childish and full of shite itself, it just drives home the fact that you people seriously don't have a clue what life is about. Let me help..... It's not about what you have, but what you do with it. You don't control anything about your skin color, height, or DNA in general. You have ONE thing which you can control, and that's your behavior, how you treat other people, and what you do with what you have been given. You didn't EARN your race, looks, ethnicity, etc, NOR do you OWN it. It's just a package that holds the real person inside, and that person has no skin color.
When you finally understand that, you will be that much closer to seeing just how nonsensical all of this really is, but at the same time, excuses come to an end, and you have to begin holding your own damn self accountable instead, and that's why its so difficult for many to come to grips with it, because it's about personal accountability, of which this generation runs from like the damn plague in everything it does.

Not reading through this whole thread but where did Adelle do this?
The OP doesn't contain anything remotely close to "apologizing for white privilege."
