Who exactly has the government shut down again??
The ones with control of the House, the Senate, and the presidency. Just like Trump said when there was a shutdown under Obama.

So, what is the constitutional limit on how long people can go without?
I'll hang up and listen.

Maybe we should get rid of congress and the presidency and just have judges run the country. This is madness.

People have gone without for too long
Those people stand in the same checkout line as I do with steamed crab legs, filets, cokes, and pay for the booze separately with a wad of cash. I think if you are a legal citizen you have the right to be fed, but not the ribeye. I feel like I’m paying for half the people in line while I’m there and I’m the only one making a financial responsible and healthy decision.

I don’t understand how the money isn’t there. Federal income taxes are still being collected.
That's to pay the useless congress critters.

Just read where the administration has filed an appeal.
Posted on 11/6/25 at 6:05 pm to Green Chili Tiger
Dems voted 14 times to shut down the government.

Glad to see they are appealing. If the GOP cave on this, it is over for them until they are swept out next Nov. The goal of Marxist is to create an emergency then use that as a means to break the free state. The GOP need to hold firm on this, push for another round of voting tomorrow and then if it fails, wait until the appeal is heard by the SCOTUS before bring another vote on a CR.

Right, and DJT will do whatever he wants.

Sounds like a pretty dictatorial thing to do by this judge to unitedly order the president to do this

It's clear that the Dems don't care about starving poor people. They'd rather use them as pawns and let them starve over opening the Gov and getting people paid, and fed.

I love how people are UP in arms about Non-working people getting free benefits in a government shutdown. Nevermind, the people actually working not getting paid, nevermind the people defending you not getting paid, no its the parasites we are worried about. And they are the supposed Socialists? Don't they know that in a socialist society they wouldn't be lacking benefits, they will be shot?
I find it interesting the people who support socialism are upset the government controls their SNAP benefits.

Apparently that judicial kunt has more power than the executive branch and legislative branch combined.

frick IT. I am so over this shite. If they want to play the game of tyrants, then lets play the game of tyrants. Every time a ruling like this comes up tell the judge that he's more than welcome to try to enforce it as he sees fit.
At some point you just have to say look, the system is so broken, and the enemy is leveraging every illegal, unethical, & treasonous measure they can to oppose us. Therefore, for the good of the country and the people whom I represent, the gloves are now coming off.
You call me a King, a Tyrant, a Fascist...okay, well the outdated rulebook that I've been abiding by, forcing me to face you with one hand tied behind my back this entire time, is now getting tossed out of the fricking window, and I'll be dealing with you as I see fit. You've wanted me to be a monster for so long, well, congratulations, you finally got your wish.

There's not a judge anywhere that has that authority.

If the judge can just order this, then why the hell do we need congress?
