re: All the RINOs dislike Vance

I’m no RINO and I have been pretty vocal about not liking the Vance pick. I wasn’t really in love with Trumps VP list to begin with though. The Va Gov would have probably been the best pick out of all if I was forced to pick one. Marco Rubio would have made a lot of sense also. Those two would have helped you win either a state or with Latino voters. Vance really doesn’t help with any group or help win a swing state. He certainly will not lead the America First agenda forward in ‘28 because I think he will not even be the nominee.

I’m beginning to think he is a great pick.
I dislike him because there are now two that don't know when to shut the frick up on the ticket.
A VP pick generally won't help you, but it can hurt you. And the last thing Trump needs is someone just as polarizing as he is as a running mate.
Apparently Don Jr. is just as bad as his old man when it comes to selecting people for his admin.

I should add this to my earlier post about Vance. He compared Trump to Hitler. Now I know he says he has evolved on Trump and Vance has been absolutely great about answering this question every time he is asked about it and I give him nothing but credit for that. He truly has been awesome explaining this. I’m sorry though I can forgive but I can’t forget. If he had run Trump down in any other way I could forgive him for that. He compared Trump to a man that is responsible for killing millions of people. There is absolutely no excuse for that. Unless you are talking about someone like Bin Laden then no person on earth should be compared to Hitler, Stalin, Mao, or any other mass murdering butchers from history. The Dems are just as wrong for doing it but I expect stupidity from them. A guy like Vance is to intelligent to get away with that. So I believe him when he says he was wrong. I believe him that he has evolved on the way he views Trump. He deserves all the credit he can get for just answering the question and not dancing around it. He should have never made the comparison though and he is to smart to not know better. He should have been excluded of the VP list just for that in my book.

Same. I’m nowhere close to being a RINO. I just feel like overall, he added very little to the ticket. And I haven’t been at all impressed with his speeches — he’s trying way too hard to be Trump-like, but not pulling it off. However my mind remains open on the subject, and I’m hoping for the best. Kamala Harris winning the presidency is without a doubt, frightening beyond comprehension.
you just responded with multiple paragraphs to a known leftist alter who is taking what you said and running to DU with it to make fun of you

This is hilarious coming from a supporter of a party who’s higher ups just threw out the candidate that won the primaries. Making that the third time in three elections the primary winner wasn’t the nominee. But keep pulling that handle friend. It suits you.

Dems have 100% control of the entire country with the corrupt communist NWO.
Astonishingly, Trump will again lose due to 10s of millions of illegal votes within the big city swing states. And nothing will be done to stop it.
Banished are the days of growing up, saying the pledge of allegiance at school before class starts and having christian family values.
May God Bless what decency is left in this world and country.

Isn’t that really all politicians though?

Such a bad pick.
He doesn't do anything to bring new people to the polls (anybody who would vote because of Vance on the ticket were already voting for Trump), he's a pretty horrific public speaker, and he's generating fodder for the other side.
When you had options such as Youngkin, picking Vance is political malpractice.
Even Vivek would have been a better pick.

The premise of this entire argument is stupid. Both Kamala and Trump are so polarizing that everyone’s mind is made up. Literally nobody would say “Hmmm, I wasn’t going to vote but Trump picked ‘x’ so I’m voting for him.
That said, I wish Trump had chosen Vivek because he has a good energy and can better articulate their policy arguments.

What does he bring to the Republican ticket besides another yes man for Trump?
The key to winning the election is winning at least two of these three states: Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania. The correct VP pick for Trump was whoever could help him the most in those states.
Of the candidates, that person was Vance.

Calm down, pawpaw.
Obama picked a veteran politician who had made a lot of friends and allies who were sure to help his agenda. And they did.
I guess Trump is planning on writing more executive orders than any president since Truman.

That's not the argument.
Congress hates Vance, and Trump needs congress to write laws.
