He didn’t listen to one command the police said and you are assuming that the statement of do not release the dog was both heard and understood. For that many cops plus K-9 unit to be onsite suggest it was a very long ordeal of pursuit

He was following the state police who were telling him to walk towards them, when the Circleville officer yelled at him to get on the ground. The state police saw the Circleville guy was acting irratically and ordered him 3 times "do not release the dog while his hands are up" before the dog was released. There are other articles and they released one of the state police body cams.

Stripes.com has the fullest body cam. LINK

What part of "he did not comply after a police chase" do you not understand? If he had gotten out of the cab and did exactly what they asked him to do the dog would not have been sent in. It ain't real hard to understand.

I’m not ok releasing these dogs on someone who isn’t presenting themselves as a threat. He should not have been mauled there.

Dude watch the link in mcgrath’s(sp) post.

A police office is saying “come to me man!” In an almost helpful tone. Did has his hands up. An officer from another precinct(I think?) behind him is saying get o the ground or my dog will potentially maim you. He said “bit” but we know what these dogs do.

The black guy literally turns to the dog guy and gives the, “well what the hell man, y’all are saying two different things” gesture. All while the body cam cop, responsibly, is yelling so not release that dog while he’s just standing here with his hands up you fricking retard.

Then the retard cop lets his dog maul the guy.

How the frick are you ok with that?

"the criminal was running from the police, and..."

from that point forward I am not too concerned with what happens to the perp.

Police would have to do something inhumane at that point for me to even give a shite what it was.

The other cops there had a problem with it. I assume you would have been fine with them shooting a man who had surrendered and had his hands up. Civilized people aren’t.

They did. They let a dog maul him while he was standing still with his hands up being given 2 completely different orders.

If during him wildly running in an 18 wheeler they decided a sniper needed to set up ahead and kill him to keep the public safe, I’d have ZERO issue with it.

But frick that officer for letting his dog maul the guy in that situation. We do not need officers like him.

So when they stop running and have their hands up, the police can do whatever they want. Got it.

Was being pursued by police, in a tractor trailer mind you, presenting himself as a threat?

Then “complying” only after the tires on the vehicle were destroyed, frick this dude.
