This is a self-selecting group that only confirms what is known about you.
If you’re suspicious of da Joooos, here’s an excellent place to really use that power for good.
Was the SPLC used to launder government money to instigators in “white supremacy” groups?

If you asked me to guess, I’d guess yes.

Her and Bondi were weird hires. Not attractive enough to suck at their jobs as badly as they did.
The 90s were fun. But the peak of America probably occurred before I was born. I’d put it around 1968.

Very interesting it stated right wing type outlets were less likely to use anonymous sources, which I'm assuming included stories about the Biden Administration.

The real story is that there’s plenty of reporters who will make up stories and then source it to an “anonymous source.” When there is no source.

Let's discuss. I'm open.

It seems difficult to stretch the hypothetical person in Hebrews 6 to a person who “didn’t really believe.” The passage seems to take great pains to describe exactly what a believer would be like.
But she wore leather pants!!

And hugged the vice President!!

I’m not saying she had her husband shot. But think about it. How many people do you know that wear leather pants and hug the Vice President?? It’s likely someone that weird could have their husband shot.

It is saying that "if a believer could fall away," (like if it were possible) then it would be impossible to bring him back because Christ would have to die again. (And since that's not happening, essentially it's saying that if a believer fell away he could never come back and that is not supported in scripture that I know of.)

But that’s not what it says. It says:
quote:

“It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age

It makes it clear that it’s talking about an actual believer.

The verb anastarountas is in the present tense. It’s impossible for them to be brought back to repentance while they are crucifying the Son of God.
On the plus side, SSB could be a perfectly serviceable backup PG. And Arowe might push him for minutes next year.

So you are doing the snake handling thing?

baffling to me that every Christian since the ascension believed in baptism for 1500 years and you guys dismiss it without a second thought

Holy strawman, Batman.
See if he’s handling snakes. We’ll see how seriously he takes Mark 16:9-20.

Not to mention, the context right after matters. Jesus gives Peter the keys and authority. That only strengthens the idea that He is in fact talking about Peter himself, not switching subjects mid-sentence to something abstract.

So no one else was given the keys and the authority from Jesus?

You’re arguing for a particularism with Peter that not even the early Fathers saw.

And you are arguing for Aramaic over the Greek. It’s ok to admit it.

I know that when the CIA recruits deep cover operatives, the first thing they do is put them in videos and then they disseminate them publicly.

Excellent work.
