You're failing to account for the hundreds of millions of non NFL fans who watched / will watch Bad Bunny's performance worldwide on YT and Insta and TikTok

Not a gotcha to point out only 17% of viewers were petty enough to mute their TVs at halftime to watch MFing Jelly Roll & Kid Rock
It’s not like I bump Latin dance music on the regular, but goddamn you couldn’t pay me to listen to that trailer trash.

You really think people were picking the exact time to flip over to the halftime show, without already being counted as viewers, while they waited for halftime to begin?
Youre talking a minimal amount of people that didnt get also counted in the 2nd and 3rd qtr viewership

Not miserable at all. I don’t listen to music in German, Russian, Japanese or any language I don’t speak. I don’t watch the Spanish speaking movie channels that come with my programming.
Clearly I wasn’t the target audience and that’s fine. But not going to watch it and if that makes you form an opinion of me, that’s on you.

Thats amazing numbers. And I seen many social posts from people having parties that watched it. Its hard to put a number on that but perhaps count as 2.5 avg.
The NFL and other sports are now counting out of home using some convoluted formula so they should too.
It was never intended to beat the NFL show, it was an alternative. But its safe to say they took 20m NFL viewers and 20% is a lot of viewers to lose for the biggest TV of each year.
People have no idea how huge this is. No other network or sports wants to go up against the mighty SB. No one even runs new TV shows.
And yet this hastily put together alternate on hard to find watching methods took 20% of the NFL audience. Thats incredible numbers and percent.
The other key is how many viewers never went back to SB. It was bland already before halftime. Numbers will show it increased solely due to how they count viewers now vs prior years. But they will know by taking those out and seeing the real drop. We’ never see them but we made a dent in the unbreakable SB market.
Charlie Kirk would be so proud.

Which advertisers thought they were paying for, before a non-English, non-subtitled show ran people off. While trying to make a subtle jab at MAGA and deportations

Even if you generously took all SB viewers & subtracted TPUSA halftime viewers in total — which would be potentially not accounting for anyone who skipped the Super Bowl but watched TPUSA OR anyone like me who watches after the fact out of morbid curiosity…
You would still have somewhere around 100M vs 20M assuming we go by this board’s numbers.

Stupid remark. Advertisers paid for TV ads “during” SB. TP took 20% of them away.
Its not about what platform TP viewers were on rather they took viewers away from SB ads that cost $10m per 30 secs.
BB could get billions of views afterwards but the advertisers got less viewers for their ads than they paid for which ran during SB.
You can’t get those 20m+ views back if you ran an ad. Thats a lot of lost sales taken away by woke US hating NFL and their henchmen.

The NFL’s decision to turn the Super Bowl halftime show into a Telenovela will go down in infamy.

Absolutely & this thread where these folks are melting down about how it is nothing & no big deal just proves the point. Nobody ever said it was going to beat out the SB but if you don't think 30m+ views on a couple months notice while competing with what I assume is the most watched sporting event in the world didn't make people $take$ notice then you are a fool.

The millions TPUSA turned off of the Super Bowl are exactly the demo that companies want to attract. It’s a demo of upper-middle class people with the means to actually purchase their products.

You still dont get it
Advertisers payed for those missing 30M viewers. Now the NFL has to run them free ads to make up for the contracted price. When the NFL runs free ads, they cant sell new ones for those slots
It will cost Goodell an assload of money (at Super Bowl prices)
Posted on 2/8/26 at 11:57 pm to RobbBobb
This is not correct, mate
Posted on 2/8/26 at 11:58 pm to Bobby OG Johnson
Yes the looney left is failing to realize that fact. The SB has a certain ad window from x time to y time. TP took away 20m+ viewers during that time. $10m per 30 sec ad so if TP took 20% viewers away that $10m ad was really only worth $8m in actual value.
That will cost them in the future as advertisers will pay less or stop advertising due to how polarizing SB has become. Most companies try and avoid politics as they want to sell to everyone. NFL is ruining that. Companies will start to pull back. This might be the beginning of the end for NFL long term. As fans tune out so do their friends and family as less buzz happens. Its a ripple effect over many years. This is year 1 of having an alternative option for halftime show. And many hard core fans are already tiring of the games and reffing.
