Descendants of slaves get free beads, descendants of invaders go back.

Same deal girl.

I am self-identifying as a slave and I want my money now. I also want Beto to drop out and give me all his campaign money.

This is a daily occurrence for you. If only you were half as smart as you actually think you are. It's comical watching you look like a fool day in and day out. At least you have that going for you.

Only if they give away the federal lands in the western states. That would at least get the land in private hands. From there it would be sold to investors and that would be an improvement.

Oh so you think I’m owed reparations?

The appropriate time for reparations would’ve been in 1865.

If you can supply proof of all the who’s, what’s, and where’s, go for it.

The Georgetown situation is the one situation I’ve seen happen, and none of us really have a problem with what happened. Slaves helped build a university, and some of their descendants can prove their lineage to that point, and so the university and the descendants made a deal.

Since we’ve seen it happen now, what’s the problem with reparations?

ETA: Prepare your melts, because one day it’s gonna happen. Ancestry technology is advancing, and one day sooner than later a legal precedent will be set regarding all this.

Yes,

A free fricking plane ride back to any other country in the world. One way ticket and renounced citizenship to the USA. Throw in a monetary value of $100,000

It would save us money in the long run.

I’m telling you it would save money in the long run. In like 10 years it would save the USA billions in welfare, medical care, crime prevention.

I would also relocate all homeless people to either a mental hospital or to an island STOCKED with seeds, plants, fresh water, livestock etc. you put the Democrats in charge and they could have full blown communism. Win win

Even cheaper if we just built camps here and put all the people you’re talking about in there. ;)

Reparations have already been paid in the form of opportunity many times over here. We are still paying out to this day.

Sounds like an issue one should take up with his state government; they were the ones who seceded and banded together with other states to seize federal property at Fort Sumter.

Oh I can prove one of my great grandmothers was an African slave but I’m also as white as it gets. You know damn well that you don’t want a white man recieving reparations. This BS has nothing to do with slavery and everything to do with race. It’s time to get over slavery, I’m over it so no reason why anyone else can’t get over it.

However you look at it slavery is wrong and I don't think families that lost slaves and there wealth because of emancipation should get reperations. Sorry you lost money because your slaves were freed but deal with it

Who are they going to take it up with? Is anyone still alive from back then? You know the answer.
