No. Frank isn't the RB coach b/c he wasn't good at coaching and developing RB's. Scheme had ZERO to do with it.

I agree with you. I'm just saying...having a RB coach that knows your scheme is more than helpful
I know when Frank left it hurt some people and there wasnt clear understanding.

Frank didnt fit the run game (our new offense is based on the run game which was at least halfway developed by the Briles guys) that Kiffin, Weis and Kendal Briles developed over the last 8 years. It started with Kiffin taking the FAU job and hiring Briles....they expanded it after Weis took over at Ole Miss.

The familiarity between a running back coach and this scheme cannot be overstated as the running back's aiming points, vision, protections, and patience has to be taught and learned.

This is why Frank couldnt stay as an on the field coach. When you have a good system, you hate to change it or try to re-teach an old dog new tricks.

Why are some of yall so entrenched in the Kiffin can do no wrong corner? Its ok to say that we haven't gotten our top choices in QB but we trust Lane to make lemonade out of lemons.

Is he going to find 3 or 4 quarterbacks?

I find it strange that you dont' understand the "panic". We have 0 QB's. Not 1 Freshmen. Or 1 WR/RB who played QB in high school. We have no one to throw the ball.

And, i don't know if you've heard, but we haven't signed one yet either. I think if we at least had a warm body with ink on a page, it might calm some people. But it's understandable to be concerned with no QB and 2 unproven olinemen on the team.

Also, i think people are assuming we are going to win 10 games next year and be in the playoffs. I doubt that happens, even if we have the best defense in the country. So people may be wondering, how are we going to make it to the playoffs with a completely new offense both coaches and players, outside of Berry.

isn’t much fun.

It’s challenging for sure. Great season to bring guests that have been asking to come for years. They don’t see anything and never ask to come back
Acorns are STILL dropping and will be for a while

swms needed a bad year so bucks have a chance to get a year older

SWMS is the perfect storm of Louisiana brown/down hunters, baiting, and skilled locals to make it probably the highest pressure area of the whole country lol.

Not to mention those skilled locals are hunting Monday- Sunday and taking out their target bucks (3) every year.

Not mad at em, they are good at it.

But it’s also why killing turkeys is EXTREMELY difficult here.

If you’re going for a Grand Slam, it’s best you try for an Eastern somewhere else
It will help tremendously with recruitment. But we still need to focus on eliminating some predators
The Mast year for acorns from a cup half full perspective.

1. Hardwood regeneration: anyone who logged will likely not have to replant

2. Packing fat stores: does being bred right now will yield tremendously healthy fawns. They have more food than they’ve had in my lifetime.

3. Preservation: the crappy hunting and reports from processors indicated low harvests. Always good for deer growth lol. The older bucks will get, one year older. Probably something that’s never happened in SWMS at this extent

4. Less money spent on feed. Honestly not good for the local economy.

And lastly one (possible) bad thing…..it could signal a catastrophic event as trees are known to shed seed/cones at a heavy rate before dramatic events.

So what would you have the posters on Tigerdroppings do in the meantime just post positive thoughts about the yet to be rostered QBs? It’s a message board man.

stop making fun of the receivers we sign?

The PANIC over QB

Do you guys not realize we just hired a HC and staff... KNOWN for finding and developing quarterbacks?

Why dont you just sit back and let them do their jobs......chances are, you might not know the guys they get....but you didnt know Trinidad Chambliss either
1. Over 14: you must kill a doe before your first buck each season.
2. If you see pigs you must kill as many as possible. Preferably the largest sow
