Really, explain how the average person (who I assume is who you’re trying to get into Congress), will be able to afford living in two cities, working full time, with no salary. That’s crazy and would result in a worse Congress than what we have now

Or we could take away all of their pay and bar them from taken special interest money and weed out all the career politicians.

And most of freaking America has a negative net worth. That includes a ton of people who look and live like they are loaded. That is financial stupidity. And we for damn sure don’t need them in Congress.
Most of the states don’t pay a huge salary.. and they are not filled with only the wealthy.

I would give her her raise from my personal assets, as long as I’m allowed to deposit the net take home from the raise on her face. I would even clean up the change from said raise off of her face with a MAGA towel.

WTF has Congress done to deserve a fricking raise? They have accomplished zilch since Trump was elected. Last time I heard they were talking about more stupid pointless investigations and impeachment. frick those dip shits. They have done nothing to deserve being paid at all.
