I heard this as an implied threat toward the interviewer. Kind of like Frank Nitti in The Untouchables.

These sorts of foundations are absolutely about money laundering. With the caveat that it's legal. That's the problem. Gates has made an order of magnitude more money with his foundation than he ever did with Microsoft.
And to bring this a little closer to home, The Baton Rouge Area Foundation is nothing more than a sophisticated tax shelter used by the city's elite to park their money. Very little value, if any, is returned to the community. You can think of the Gate's foundation in the same way, except that it is larger and has global consequences.
The sooner this whole "philanthropic industrial complex" is exposed for the con it is, the better off we will all be.
And I have no doubt that Gates is a pedophile, he shares all the characteristics -- he's narcissistic, sociopathic, controlling and evil.
