He’s upset about the Hunter Biden story not being leaked unlike his buddy Sam Harris, so I think he cares about that in principle. He actually defended Trump on that show saying that he knows Trump had no idea what was in those boxes and this was way over the top with the FBI. I can make sense of Rosie and Bill’s hatred for Trump, but Harris’ has everything to do he’s a educated prick and can’t stand someone like Trump was elected. He defended basically all of Trump’s policies yesterday, so what the frick is wrong with Trump other than personality and what he says?

Yes he’s a liberal, his party is not. They don’t have any core beliefs other than unfettered, centralized power.

The thing folks need to realize is that Maher probably voted in 2020. I have no clue how he voted but I would bet he pulled the trigger for the current admin.

10-15 years ago he would’ve been considered pretty far to the left, but the progressives have pushed the democrat party so fat left that Maher looks conservative by comparison
