Trump has authority via the American people. If he does something clearly criminal then Congress has the authority to move for impeachment. The courts can get bent.

"This" president is different. He is unqualified; not honest; a proven manipulator of the truth; has a history of screwing contractors out of money to save his bottom line; has an ego complex; has a history of failed businesses; has said in the past that if he ran for president he would run as a Republican because they believe "anything"; is a show-man first and leader last; has cost the taxpayers millions and millions on his mostly self serving political travel; loves Muh Russia; says he knows more than his experts; does not know what he does not know; and surrounds himself with baseless people---his kids included.
His presence has empowered morons like Ocasio-Cortez and he has made the USA a laughing stock of the world (not the Ocasio-Cortez does not help us with that distinction as well).
So, America is fighting among itself. Just what Putin wants. We have morons on the left and morons on the right. We have people who cannot think (again, Ocasio-Cortez backers and Trumpsters) and our deficit is going to hurt us sooner rather than later.
We have a large number of people who cannot pay their bills--a sign NOT of a stable economy despite that Trump tells his followers. Funny, he never tells his backers of the deficit---he only says we have the best economy ever---another lie.
So, unless we all support someone who actually knows what they are doing it will only get more problematic--wall or not.
It is not the Republicans who are the problem---it is ONLY Trump. A smart and honest Republican should be able to kick the Dems butts in the next election--that is not going to be Trump. If trump runs we run the risk of a moron dem winning.
