Never been much of a F1 follower. However Haas entering and Ford returning to the sport has peaked my interest a bit.

I think what Cig has pulled off should give Kirby hope. Cig is showing that the blueprint of having an offense that eliminates mistakes with a good running game and a defense that plays disciplined assignment football with great fundamentals is still king of college football.

This team is soft both mentally and physically. We can try to blame it on the portal, NIL, poor schemes and execution but the biggest adjustment this team needs is in the S & C program and the mindfrick that goes along with it to create mental toughness.
Alabama has elite talent. What it doesn't have is the character for EVERY player on the field to beat the guy in front of him for 60 minutes.
The 4 teams left have it. Alabama does not.

This is a correct statement.
However, the one obvious characteristic that the 4 teams that are left have is that they play very physical football. That's proof positive that the "make his arse quit" approach is still king.
You aren't going to "out scheme or finesse" any team at this level of football. Deboer couldn't do it at Washington and he's not going to do it here either no matter how elite the talent is.
At the championship level of football, you have to have the bust somebody in the mouth mentality or the result is what we got yesterday.
It really is that simple.
