when we are already doing more than that daily,
Link? We were close, but that was mostly due to cluster inoculations in places like hospitals and nursing homes.
And I linked before the fact the we basically have no reserve.

Should not the states have a better grasp of who their citizens are, their needs, locations and so on?
Especially in light of all the Federal funding for health care received in the past?
Should not the individual states know it’s unique opportunities and threats such has distribution, storage, location of most vulnerable citizens, and resources to admin all vaccines?

I wish I could say the same about the "answer."

States would scream if the Feds came in, I know Cuomo would. They had PPE and Trump ramped up fast to get them what they didn't have and we know damn well they had all the ventilators they needed, and now Cuomo's throwing out vaccine doses because his people are too damn stupid .
There are CDC guidelines and a plan on who should get the shots first, the media just can't stop lying.

Those questions have been answered and the answer was "no".

There is NO EXCUSE for states like alabama and california being so behind in vaccination, when states like WV and SD are doing just fine.
whatever happened to "the buck stops here"?

They had PPE
Because they had to bid against other states to get them. That's right, each state was bidding against each other for PPE rather than having the Federal government buy and distribute them as was done in other federal states like Germany, Canada, and Australia.

I kept asking that during the Trump Administration. Got no answer.
If you're saying that Biden is more to blame for these problems on day 5 rather than Trump was since Covid came out over a year ago there's no hope for you.

Many states have figured out just fine how to get the vaccine out efficiently. Therefore, you can't blame the feds for your blunders, period.
It's too bad you aren't holding blue state governors to the same standard you held trump
you're very little an inner city nola dem deadbeat.
I don't care if you deny it. you are. you are a dem dick sucker. probably come from a long line of dem deadbeats.

Not my understanding. We know for a FACT Cuomo lied about ventilators. Who did without PPE?
It didn't take long for Trump to get PPE here from all over the world and get it made here in record time. Those complaints went away.

The U.S. rollout fell short of federal projections as vaccinations proceeded unevenly across the states. The initial round of shots through early January has been doled out primarily through hospitals and other institutional health-care settings.
Just as I said.

you're a shitstain dem who is excusing terrible blue state covid policy.
I live in california. My state's economy has the highest UE rate in the nation despite also having the worst covid surge.
Meanwhile, florida, South carolina, and SD are sitting here with UE rates MORE THAN HALF that of CA, and also these states have better virus data.
blue states dropped the ball. they are holding back economic recovery.
south dakota has a UE rate LOWER THAN BEFORE PANDEMIC.

States are bidding against each other and the federal government for important medical supplies — and it’s driving up prices
quote:
States are bidding against the federal government to buy personal protective equipment (PPE) for medical staff.
Low supplies and the existence of multiple bidders has made it difficult for states to get enough protective equipment for medical staff.
Experts interviewed for this article said the federal government could centralize procurement through FEMA to create more efficiency. Some governors have floated a buying consortium as an alternative.

Let me guess...you don't give Trump any credit for the vaccine being produced in record time. Am I right?
