If he'd murdered an infant, engaged in dozens of actions of childabuse, concocted terror plots targeting schools,and was a clear flight risk, Manafort would be walking free.

My court experience is limited to John Grisham novels and Law & Order.
But my guess is the jury is dead locked and doesn’t see they reaching a unanimous verdict. So they want to go home vs spend the weekend sequestered in a hotel.
