Damn. Now I feel ashamed for never reading The Abolition of Man.

This might surprise you, but it isn't too late to pick it up

I’ve read Mere Christianity (twice) and The Screwtape Letters. I think that I will pick it up soon.

It’s a challenging read well worth the effort.

Lewis played out the ideas put forth in Abolition of Man in the third novel of his Space Trilogy, That Hideous Strength.

Reading it again Lewis’s novel is eerily prophetic and accurate.

Even if someone is not a follower of Christ, he would have to be a fool not to appreciate CS Lewis's prescient social commentary, as it was erudite during its time and prophetic for the future

It’s a damn shame what Netflix is about to do to his work.

Whatever kid sold their fathers soul to Netflix should be haunted by their father

Don’t tell me that Netflix is getting ahold of Narnia. That’s borderline sacrilege.

Logic is timeless. Human nature is timeless. Lewis was an intellectual giant and we shouldn't be surprised that he made some prescient observations. We should be very impressed, but not surprised.

His Screwtape Letters story is perhaps the best to explain human thinking of what is going on now.

C. S. Lewis was a prophet.
