Republican - gawd in politics.

I fricking love that you posted this...

Cool story, but first we have to try educating people like you that just because CNN calls someone a conservative, doesn’t mean they are one.
...followed by this...

So you lumped yourself in with libertarians by way of skirmishing with me in both of these threads

Gotcha.
No. You really don't.

csn you and Josh show what you believe Libertarianism to be?
I believe someone is justified in calling themselves a libertarian if they adhere to the Non-Aggression Principle.

My position is the application of logic and reason to knowledge of individual issues. For specific positions, I'd need specific issues.
As if every side in politics doesn't claim the mantle of logic and reason. Libertarians are also afraid of taking defined positions or being labeled. I have had many of these types of discussions with a hardcore libertarian family member.

That is precisely what I like the most.

The beauty of it is that I don't have a "side."

I label myself a libertarian and take defined positions on practically every conceivable issue. The frick are you talking about?

Lol... You do, because everyone must choose which end of the continuum to be on ranging from hardcore conservative/free market to socialism/communism.
When you vote for a candidate you are picking someone that will take sides. To not vote for any candidates is to remove yourself out of the political process altogether and render your philosophy impotent.
If you support Ron Paul then you are on the R side, whether you like the other parts that come with it or not. Ultimately we are all voting for more state control (socialism) or less with every election. And sometimes some repubs may have certain policies that lean towards more state control, but on the whole they are opposed to socialism.

Just look at the two posts above you that validate my point. :)

Wrong. Your inability to consider multiple positions doesn't apply to everyone.

That isn't what that means.

No, they don't. As I've said many times, I'm not a libertarian.

Hank wemt to retrieve his daughters from a birthday party. As entertaining as I find y’all, I find my children more so.

The juvenile condescension that comes from many libertarians is also a staple.
Do you vote, and if so what party do you typically vote for? If your answer is no, then your political philosophy is mute and pointless.

Well I'm pretty sure the Soviets and Chinese communists didn't vote their way to power.

Mute as in it's silent... In taking no sides, you don't exist politically.

You don't think their revolutions occurred because a majority of the people decided to overthrow the government? Also what about Venezuela?
