Perhaps the rebrand, in addition to providing a HGTV environment, and perhaps tampon dispensers in the male bathrooms may: 1- alleviate your fear, and 2-make you feel included.

That’s quite literally the entire point of the restaurant.

Explains everything. Enjoy your generic restaurant that’s no different than anything else you would ever walk into.

We'll find out before long. Everyone I've talked to hates it. Somebody has to be right.

We already know.

Again, this latest revolt against this cosmetic rebranding is simply the latest reiteration of longstanding customer dissatisfaction over the corporate direction of the brand.

Cracker Barrel loses almost $100 million in value as stock plunges after new logo release…

Cracker Barrel shed almost $100 million in market value Thursday after its stock plunged following the release of a new logo. The new design eliminates a longstanding drawing of an overall-clad man leaning against a barrel, in favor of a cleaner logo featuring just the chain's name.

Shares of Cracker Barrel fell $4.22, or 7.2%, to $54.80 in Thursday trading, shedding $94 million in market value. The stock had dipped to a low of $50.27 earlier in the day, representing a loss of almost $200 million in its capitalization.

Cracker Barrel shares gained in early trading Friday, but resumed their slide later in the day. The stock closed down 40 cents, or less than 1%, to $54.40.

Wall Street's reaction to the logo redesign comes as Cracker Barrel has been working to refresh its image through new menu items and redecorated stores that eschew the 55-year-old chain's old-timey approach in favor of a more modern look. It's unusual for a company's share price to plunge dramatically due to a logo redesign, although marketing missteps can cause investors to question a company' strategy….

Here is a sneak-peak of the upgraded store:

Looks like there’s a lot more wrong with Cracker Barrel besides the “rebrand”

I’m trying to put my finger on what happened 2020-2022 that could have impacted their target demographic.

That restaurant Melty in College Drive in BR…it looks so sterile and bland and is in that fricking box-type building like McD, Wendy’s, and BK are going to. Tells me it’s from a business that uses the cheapest ingredients, bland in that yankee way, and there is absolutely nothing about it that might entice me to try it.

No kidding.

It is such a confounding mystery.

I’m sure the marketing geniuses behind this latest rebrand are running focus groups to come up with a answer.

Cracker Barrel food has sucked for 5+ years, and its primary demographic of old boomers took a dent.

The stock price has been tanking for years and COVID did a one-two punch to the franchise.

That said, the rebrand is dumb as frick and, in my opinion, intentional by the board to tank it for good so they can liquidate assets and make a buck.

Like the rebranding of Aunt Jemima into Pearl Milling Company.

Who is the marketing genius who came up that name?

It sounds like the name of a company that compounds raw aggregate or creates oxygenated solvent for heavy industry.

As did Cracker Barrel’s corporate promotion of woke idiocy. Go work, go broke.

This is straight out of Blackrock’s playbook:

Grandson came to visit and we bought that for his pancakes. I remember thinking it sounded like a no-name company that provides generic shite to stores that sell no name generic shite. Like Great Value, in a way.

Yeah, so riddle me this: If the feedback is so great, why did the stock tank?

Answer: Racist stock brokers

The new logo has a large C and a large B with the rest of Cracker and Barrel being much smaller.

2 years from now... they'll be known as CB's. Book it.

This is public though right? I guess blackrock owns enough of it to pull the strings.
