Israel out of no where shoots missles indiscriminately without provocation into Gaza or the West Bank?
Oh yeah, Israel launched a surprise attack and targeted civilians early in a Sunday morning of a holiday weekend. Then celebrated it as they dragged dead bodies and hostages back during said surprise attack.
Come on guys, I would 100% oppose Israel if they did what Hamas/the Gazan Palestinian community did. When you are supporting people that danced in the streets when 9/11 occurred you are on the wrong side of the issue.

I have accepted that people live in different realities. One of my best friends, and one of the most charitable and honest people I’ve ever known, is a staunch democrat who believes Trump wants to usher in the 4th Reich. It doesn’t bug me. She’s a blast to be around and the best cook I know.
I get that if your main exposure to Dave Smith is from Piers Morgan clips that you would consider him a “bro without substance.” Entertaining as it may be at times, that show is the Jerry Springer of political punditry.
But to make the claim that Douglas Murray won that debate…
It’s just blind ‘n dumb. Dumberer than dumb.
I still like Douglas Murray, but my esteem of him went down quite a bit. I’ve followed him for a decade and viewed him as a truth-teller. What he did that day was not the truth. It was the same bullshite Madking is doing in this thread. All he had was “Nuh uh. You’re stupid.”
It comes down to a simple principle. Murray is from the Old World and Smith is an American.
What I mean by that is that Murray thinks of people as civilized or savages. He does see class. (And he isn’t totally wrong) Smith sees everyone as equal. (And he isn’t totally wrong) Murray tried to hide that distinction by calling Smith a useful idiot and attacking Scott Horton and Joe Rogan. It was an obfuscation because he actually believes that Israel is the better society and deserves to live over the Palestinians. That causes him to be dishonest about what they are actually doing. Which is a genocide. It’s the “for the greater good” argument. And he is right in that Israel is the better society. I think Smith agrees with that. He just doesn’t believe that gives Israel the right to kill ‘em all.
I have a huge amount of respect for Dave Smith for his unwavering consistency and pursuit of honest discussion. Forget his politics. Tell me one lie he’s told or cheap political grift he’s ever done.

So Trump decided that Iran should start a nuclear program? Wait did he also unfreeze funds that had been held for decades and returned it to them so they could sponsor even more terrorism? Neither of those things happened.
Smith correctly decided that Kamala Harris could not win that election. He was never a Trump supporter who stabbed him in the back. He gave him a chance, as did I.
The man (Trump) believes in nothing but his own personal power. He HAPPENS to be on the side that is less evil. You dummies (not you specifically-the general “you dummies”) that blindly support him are just excited to be winning and overlook his shortcomings.
As to Iran, you think it was the correct decision to follow the lead of the same group that got us into Iraq and Afghanistan?
I do agree his impeachment wording was over the top. But I also agree that Trump’s whole thing was we’re gonna stop dealing with other people’s baby mama drama. And he’s reneged on all of it.

Great post. I’m sincere when I say we need a four way debate between the following:
Pro-Israel:
Ben Shapiro
Eylon Levy
Anti-War:
Dave Smith
Scott Horton
And yes, no one is Pro-Hamas and anyone that actually takes that side will obviously lose since Hamas is pure evil. Five hour debate between these four with an intermission. Piers Morgan is friendly enough with all of these people and has been on both sides of the debate, so make him the moderator if necessary, but largely let them talk without interrupting unless it gets extremely hostile.
America and the world needs the debate between those four, similarly how I really want a debate between RFK and Bhattacharya vs Fauci and Collins or Hotez when it comes to Covid. The former is an actual possibility and Shapiro and Levy can no longer ignore Smith and Horton, and it would be one of the most viewed debates of all time.
Come on Ben and Eylon, put your money where your mouth is and debate Dave and Scott. Ben would definitely agree to debate Medhi Hasan for instance or anyone truly sympathetic to Hamas because he’d own them, but he’d have a harder time debating someone who thinks Hamas is evil as well.

The inconvenient truth, which Smith can't reconcile, is that Israel is fighting against a an evil governing force that doesn't give two shits about it's citizens, and benefits from civilian casualties.
