Nancy ripping the SOTU was symbolic of defeat, waiving white flag. She is out of energy. Submitted that she has nothing left. The Democratic Party is an absolute disaster. Self inflicted. Karma happened. The balance of political ideology has shifted. Freedom wins.

He has a role to play. His lines say he has to lament about racism and minority voters.

They’ve given up on trying to downplay Trump’s support. Now they are trying to raise voter turnout and framing this as a dire situation

He shows WAY too much emotion for me to believe that he isn’t a sincere man.

I'll start paying attention again if they'll show an ounce of self awareness and concede that the "problem" is self inflicted.

Trump has all of this momentum because they dropped the ball from day one.

They've sold our country out and until they recognize this and make amends they deserve everything coming their way.

Guys,

This is nothing but a result of the Democrats constantly doubling down on their rhetoric since 2016. When they lost the Rust Belt, common sense would've said to go to these areas, own up to your mistakes, ask for forgiveness, and try to get your voters back. But Pelosi and her crew are way too good for that. The people in those areas, a good bit of which have voting Democrat for decades, are now "racist and bigoted" for voting for Trump. These fools have alienated a third of their voting base. So now, they're trying to pass crazy immigration reform for illegals to make up for their lost voting base instead of owning up to their mistakes. They even abused power to impeach the President.

So, they can all reap what they sow. They could've corrected this three years ago. Instead, they did the complete opposite. And now, they are severely paying for it.

Axelrod is a lot if things, but he ain’t no fool.

Too bad that he is a leftist, the guy is smart and about as level-headed as they get for that group of misfits. Same for Carville. He is no fool either...too bad that both are not conservatives

I have no respect for this man. Intelligent, yes, but wholly disingenuous. He only seems "level headed", but that idea falls flat when he stumps for openly corrupt people.

If you can get past the punditry BS, Axelrod usually has a pretty solid take on the mechanics of a campaign and where things stand. Unlike some other taking heads who have bullshite titles like “Obama/Bush Strategist,” Axelrod has actually been in the trenches and run campaigns. He knows his stuff when it comes to strategy. There are times, like last night, when he takes off the liberal panelist hat and gives a pretty fair analysis of the election..
