Advancing? She didn't have a tank. She was a 120 lb unarmed woman. You think she was going to take out Congress and a VP with harsh language?
And how do you know she broke into the Capitol? Plenty of people were waved in through doors being held open by police.
Either way, she could have easily been arrested, but Byrd never tried. He just shot her without her ever committing any act of violence.
And if you can show me the law that allows lethal force for being in the vicinity of Congress members, then I will agree with you, but last I checked, there isn't one.
On the other hand, officers tried to detain this woman without violence, and she chose to resist and drive into one of them. And no, he wasn't out from in front of the car on the first shot. He fired the first shot as she was hitting him.

If she had been a real threat, they would have shot her themselves.
In the video, before it disappeared from public consumption, the two officers behind Babbitt raise their weapons in the direction of the shooter.
It was straight up-murder.
