Even after he proves he is not ICE, they are still assholes to him for no reason. They can't accept that they were wrong, so they have to continue to treat him like he is at fault somehow.
The funny thing is, they profiled the guy based on the way he looked, and then demanded he identify himself to prove he belonged there and wasn't ICE. Literally, the same thing they insist ICE does and is fascist for doing.

From reading other articles, sounds like the prosecution was afraid they could not get a conviction, so they offered this guy an Alford plea. The judge was not happy about the deal, but I guess she had no choice.
Sounds like the only evidence was the mother of the child, and she already changed her story multiple times, lying about the child's injuries, trying to cover for this guy. So the prosecution did not feel confident in getting a conviction based on her testimony.
I still think they should have gone to trial and risked it instead of giving him a slap on the wrist for murdering a baby.
The silver lining is that there is no way this guy keeps clean for the 5 years of probation. He will almost certainly end up in prison or maybe just get murdered.

Part of his story is that when he was a kid, he was locked in a room with a woman, and men burst into the room and shot the woman. Then Trump comes in to assault him. He claims there was a tent stake in the room, and he stabbed Trump with it, and Trump had to be life-flighted. Even though they casually murdered this woman, they decided not to kill this kid, who almost killed one of their wealthy clients.
Later, at a different time, there was a party at a farm, and Trump really wanted to kill somebody, but they said this is not that kind of party; however, they did have a bunch of puppies and gave those to Trump to kill. And he tortured and killed all of those puppies.
Besides implicating Trump, he also implicates Jim Jordan, Andy Biggs, and Clarence Thomas. All conservative/Republicans. Very convenient.
I think the guy may be trolling the left with these stories because they are so over-the-top absurd. No intelligent person would take them seriously.

Even if they were to break Minnesota law, police are not going to arrest them. The likely scenario is that the agent or agents in question would have to turn themselves in at a later time. Police are not going to show up with guns drawn to arrest federal agents. It is absurd to think that would happen.
