It is pretty obvious the plan is to do nothing until midterms and hope Democrats take control after. Sure, Republicans oppose Democrats, but what they don't want is any lasting representation from MAGA. That is too much like a third party.
So Republicans keep Trump ineffective by doing nothing his first two years, and then when Democrats take control, Republicans will pretend to be outraged at Democrats for blocking Trump but will applaud them behind closed doors.
Their ultimate hope is MAGA ends when Trump leaves office.

The people being killed wield no power. Killing a random Russian soldier will affect nothing in the US.
Start taking out Russian leadership, and then you may have an impact. Maybe if the focus in wars became taking out politicians instead of some random enlisted kid, nations would be more inclined to find peace through negotiation.

But we also subsidize all of those countries that have "free" healthcare. We pay more here, so medical companies can offset the price controls in other countries.
We are also the leader in medical innovation because it is not worth the cost to innovate in a healthcare system with price controls.
We can shift to a single-payer system, but the quality of healthcare will decline, and advancement in medical technology worldwide will also decline.
It is easy to have limited Socialism around the world when US Capitalism is there to pay for it.

4 people is 0.3% of the 1,270 total. The normal incarceration rate for people in the US is 0.7%. Normal recidivism for people released from jail or prison is 60% to 70%. The normal recidivism rate for people who have been pardoned is 33.2%. So, Jan 6 offenders are well below all normal incarceration rates.
So what is the point? Are you complaining that Jan 6 prisoners were not given life sentences to ensure they never commit another crime? Are you arguing for political imprisonment?
