That ought to do it.
It will be interesting to watch.

Since a DA (State Attorney) is a local elected official in Florida, I find it odd that the governor has the unilateral ability to suspend him, but that must be the rule there.
I don’t know why that’s odd; they’re part of the executive branch. You must have cause, but that’s exactly how Scott and DeSantis got rid of 2 corrupt/inept Supervisors of Elections in south Florida.

Maybe not, but DeSantis won this one.
Warren, predictably has been lashing out, lying, and just generally throwing a tantrum about it.
Meanwhile, DeSantis moved on and wished the Coast Guard a happy birthday.

Where are you seeing the State Attorney hasn't done this?
As to the abortion-related "failures," there would first have to have been a physician who was aware that the procedure was illegal and performed it anyway. Very unlikely. Then, there would also need to be evidence that SOMEONE then reported this procedure to Warren's office. Again, the provider would have taken steps to keep it quiet. Last, there would have to be evidence that Warren reviewed the case and refused to proceed.
As to the transgender issue, Desantis' actions were regulatory within his Department of Health. There is no criminal statute that Warren could even prosecute, so he clearly could not "decline to prosecute." This stuff was included for its "press release value."

It is pretty easy to win, when your opponent does not even know there is a war, and it is pretty easy to get the functional equivalent of a TRO, when acting completely ex parte.
The lack of any actual violation yet by Warren may mean that Midway is on the near horizon.

I don't expect the Florida Senate to side with Warren over DeSantis.

And I thought the LA constitution was trash...
La Constitution allows removal for malfeasance or gross misconduct. Impeached by House, tried by Senate. Needs to be done. Soros DAs need removal if we still believe in our Republic.
§24. Impeachment
Section 24.(A) Persons Liable. A state or district official, whether elected or appointed, shall be liable to impeachment for commission or conviction, during his term of office of a felony or for malfeasance or gross misconduct while in such office.
(B) Procedure. Impeachment shall be by the House of Representatives and trial by the Senate, with senators under oath or affirmation for the trial. The concurrence of two-thirds of the elected senators shall be necessary to convict. The Senate may try an impeachment whether or not the House is in session and may adjourn when it deems proper. Conviction upon impeachment shall result in immediate removal from office. Nothing herein shall prevent other action, prosecution, or punishment authorized by law.
