I have no clue how accurate that scene is, but the scene itself is very well done. Sutherland just nails it.

I’d say Stone did a ton of harm with the movie. I wish I knew then about Stone what I know about him now.

The interesting thing about that scene is when he is describing the security failures of that day, they are reminiscent of the failures in Bulter, Pa

The scene that got me early in the movie was Senator R. Long ( obviously not Huey).

His scene sets you up for a long ride and concedes Garrson early on.
