This "rumor" definitely confuses hebrew and greek.

Again, the Gospels were written in Greek. I'm sorry that you're too stupid to see the relevance of that.

Why are you even throwing hands? You don't believe the OP either?

Let's fight about something more interesting.

Well Indiana Jones says it starts with an "I".

Oh wait...that's Latin.

Carry on.

Seems like you found some really effective antisemitic propaganda.

What's sad, if you are from Louisiana, is how the X in so many Cajun and French names is due to the X being pushed together in records and changing the spelling from the French to the eauX ending now so common.

Well, I had another angle (but it’s stupid). Involving Elon as the antichrist.

What?

I guess the fellow is angry that English monks and priests over 500 years ago came up with that little abbreviation “Xmas”. He probably thinks “Xmas” is a modern abbreviation meant to take the Christ out of Christmas.

This was a weak thread. Lots of idiocy.

Most accounts have the “inn” was probably a guest room. It is a more popular translation for the word.

There was no room at the “inn”, but in the account of Matthew, Mary and Joseph already lived in Bethlehem giving birth to Jesus in (presumably their own) house. The Zoroastrian priests from Persia bring the gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to Jesus where he is… in a house. Not an animal feed trough.

Jesus name in Hebrew is Yeshua.

And, Yeshua in English is Joshua, not Jesus.
The English "Jesus" comes from the Greek Iesous, a transliteration of Yeshua, as Greek lacked the "sh" sound, leading to a change to an "s" sound.
From Greek, the name was adopted into Latin as Iesus, pronounced roughly "Yeh-soos". Latin doesn't have a 'J'.

TLDR:The name of our Lord and Savior should have been translated as Joshua in English, just like it appears throughout the Old and New Testaments.
