Texas was toast when they took the 100K from New Orleans and doomed Houston. Once you give a City away, you have already allowed a huge crack in the wall to go unfixed.

Imma erect a wall around my neighborhood with some of the other dadbods.
I've lived in NYC and SF. I probably have more hope in the future if our country than most of y'all. I've seen that there are, indeed, good liberals/non insane ones. Of course, the worst ones are the loudest ones and there are still plenty. If the GOP ever puts out more of a palatable, eloquent statesman against a rising tide of wokeness and intersectionality, or 3rd party access is broadened, I could see the DNC being screwed for little awhile.
