Apparently Larry Fink invested 6 billion in xAI

I quit going to X because it was all faces of death videos on my feed which is crazy because I hate that shite and refuse to watch people getting killed or maimed.
I've seen others say the same thing - when the algorithm changed their FYP became nothing but torture porn. I wonder how that keeps happening?

You stole my meme from page 2!
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness”
I do appreciate you acknowledging your mediocrity and my greatness

I’m against anything censorship that decides for me what is good, bad, positive or negative. I’ll decide and if I don’t like it I won’t read it.

You stole my meme from page 2!
Did you do that, or did Grok? Hmmmmm?
I didn't steal it btw.
I simply turned it.
I left the image credit to Grok, and didn't even sign it.
You'll find that's how memes get started.
Here's another ...
"Hey Grok, show me "John Barron" standing on a desk" ....

Ok, so who pressured him to create the algorithm that already existed?
What you seem to be saying here, along with the added context of your previous posts, and I apologize if I'm misunderstanding, is that because an algorithm previously existed, any tweaks in the programming and intent of that algorithm is meaningless?
To which the obvious question is, if tweaking the algorithm produces such negligible results, why do it in the first place?
This is a small site, and moderation is done by humans rather than an algorithm, but, it's also a social website where users post opinions, so still analogous. If Chicken were to instruct his moderators to suspend the posting privileges of every user that openly disagreed that LSU goes undefeated next year, would that be an irrelevant change to the website?
This site has always been subject to rules and moderation. So what if they do a little tweak in the terms of service to cheer things up around here? Texas fans might disagree, but we don't need their negativity bringing us down. Shitcan 'em and all the Bama fans, too. We all know what a bunch of dickhead, cousin-frickers they are. And we can all agree Auburn can GTFO.
Both Chicken and Elon own their platforms and are obviously free to run them as they see fit. Chicken can ban anyone on this site, any time, for any reason, as can Elon with X. I'm just pushing back at what seems to be (again, apologies if I'm off base) your contention, that changes to the algorithm of X, essentially prioritizing and de-platforming opinions based upon nothing but someones fallible and abstract idea of "positivity", aren't worthy of note or discussion by the end users, because 'X always had an algorithm.'
