Since MJ in 1993 when the NFL realized the Halftime show was a natural place for major pop artists

That's the inflection point for the modern era of Halftime shows, and it only really had a digression for a few years after Nipplegate but after the Who's shitty performance they couldn't deal with it any longer and it went back to popular-pop performers

You’re just too stupid to understand context. No one is surprised

Thank you for your attention to this matter

Quote the part of his post "defending" Bad Bunny, please.

They can’t.

I just think it’s fascinating that they think no one heard of BB as if everyone lives in the same bubble they do. It’s like they get no wifi in their trailer parks.

. They decided to turn Bad Bunny off and flipped to the Turning Point alternative show, because he feels the content that will be shown is more appropriate for his audience. By your wide sweeping definition, he is an overly emotional virtue signaler that isn't using logic.

No. Y'all keep making this shitty comparison.

If they announce to the world that they did it? That's the virtue signaling.

The emotional part comes more with doing that re: Bad Bunny

No I knew you were going to pivot to this because I know you had no evidence.

And you performed exactly as I predicted.

SirWinston was banned yesterday (I think) for pointing out how bad they look

•I posted the reactions is the same from the left over Bad Bunny (which is basically the same thing Stephan A Smith said yesterday).

Let me ask you this question. If you claim no one on the right OR left has ever heard of him prior to this SB….how does he have so many streams? Is your argument bots? That’s the best you got?

Or maybe, just maybe…you live in a little bubble that isn’t representative of America at large?

Oh know…. The DEI bed pan changer thinks I’m broken because I pointed out that she is no different than the people she criticized.

Unlike you, we actually watched both programs and thought they were both good. I just think both sides are overboard on their reactions

SFP isn't stupid. He just doesn't believe in anything or stand for anything but liberalism.

That at the height of his national popularity. You think a large portion of the NFL viewing public was pissed by that?

Very wrong

The landscape of the emotional right in 1993 was nothing like it is today

The turning point show itself is being labeled as "virtue signaling". The argument is that the alternative show shouldn't even have been an option and that the creation of it was done by a bunch of "snowflakes."

It is not a shitty comparison. It is showing that your sweeping generalizations are shitty.

Exactly. That's the "signaling" of the virtue.

Nobody is commenting on people who engaged in the behavior in the privacy of their own home without public commentary.

I don’t respect you enough to “provide evidence” to whatever you’re asking for. You’re just another dumb arse leftist who post on a message board. You don’t get to demand shite from anyone.

And you are preforming exactly like everyone here expects you too:

•run into a thread and take a position on the left
•demand evidence and quotes
•argue the rest of the day over small details
•wash, rinse, repeat

It is, but that's a different group engaging in their own outward behaviors.

quote:

The argument is that the alternative show shouldn't even have been an option

Nobody made this argument. Don't double down on dishonesty.

People making fun of the TPUSA event or those who watched are not saying it shouldn't have even been an option.

quote:

and that the creation of it was done by a bunch of "snowflakes."

It was done by people trying to make money manipulating snowflakes, is a better description.

quote:

It is not a shitty comparison.

No, it is, and you've even had to pivot from it and ignore it in this whole post.

You ignore what the "signaling" part of virtue signaling even means
