This is a link to what is supposed to be his toned down lyrics for the Superbowl.

Can you get off your lazy fricking arse and provide in English, what the lyrics said?

It seems Randy Fine is having this problem, too. It appears he's referencing lyrics of songs that are real, but weren't performed.

We will see if that turns out to be true

quote:

USA TODAY Network reporters who are fluent in Spanish listened to a replay of the performance. They said many of the explicit lyrics shared by Fine were genuine translations of songs, but weren't part of the performance.

A transcript of the Super Bowl performance that the Genius lyrics database translated online included some sexually explicit lyrics and expletives. But one of the reporters said Bad Bunny often mumbled through the expletives or cut off the word entirely in his Feb. 8 show.

Standard stuff.

quote:

In his post, Fine – who was not immediately available for comment – shared other explicit lyrics from other songs that were translated through Genius.

Still another Network reporter pointed out the songs were not performed in their entirety; Bad Bunny's performance clocked in at about 13 minutes.

It seems like Fine is playing fast and loose to....virtue signal

The TPUSA show was horrific.

That’s your opinion, fine

quote:

No, it should not have included English. Ole boy doesn't sing in English.

I didn’t say he had to sing in English, retard. I said some English would have been nice so we knew what he was singing about.

What did he say that has this group pissed off?

Don’t know, wasn’t commenting on that aspect of the thread. Honestly, don’t care either

quote:

I'm not reading that article nor am I going to take the time to have a translator run while watching it again. I liked it, but once was enough.

Sounds like you don’t care enough either so carry on with your day

he lived rent free in your head prior to the game and then cashed in BIGLY when all those who claimed they were not going to watch the performance, actually watched the perormance

This whole fiasco has just shown we are a nation full of snowflakes and virtue signalers, on all sides, yearning for “look at me” attention. I never heard of the dude before the game, though my kids had. Left the halftime show on the TV and went outside to fry some wings for the family before the second half started. But the fact people, especially conservative, are still going on and on about this weirdo means….the weirdo likely won.

Now, in the four pages this thread has gone, has anyone revealed what the lyrics were in English and if any violated FCC laws? That seems to be a bit important here.

But that didn't happen.

The Satanic, tranny performance we were all promised didn't happen, and what was a very baw/wholesome performance did happen

It's more a grift of snowflake behavior

Well grift may be too harsh. A marketing opportunity targeting snowflakes is more fair.

If Charlie Kirk was alive I don't think this show happens.

So we are back to everyone who would tune into an alternative halftime show is a snowflake.

quote:

Not at all. This is bad logic.

Everyone is saying that you're free to make choices. But people also get to make fun of you for those choices if its applicable.

THIS is snowflake logic, which also ignores that those same snowflakes have no problem criticizing/mocking the perceived out group. This is the irony they don't get when making this silly "argument". We're not talking about saints here who hold their opinion of the out group quiet.

Okay so either you enjoy Bad Bunny or you are a snowflake.

quote:

And Kid Rock's music is compatible with that?

What songs did Kid Rock play versus what songs did Bad Bunny play? Kid Rock did not play a song that talked about eating assholes.

By your definitions anyone who pushes back against the direction of the modern culture is a snowflake. So by that standard, standing for anything outside of the collective moral standard is snowflake behavior. We should all just accept whatever direction the culture is being pushed and if we don't agree just sit on the sidelines and shut up. That is exactly what is being pushed.

Correct. It’s basically a two year old phenomenon. The question is, then, why did the NFL go 58 years without doing this, and suddenly decide this is the route they want to go?

No. This is an absolute straw man.

That comment wasn't even about the Bad Bunny show.

This isn't a binary scenario. That's even more irrationality you're adding to your argument.

Which lyric during the SB are you referencing? Do you have a time stamp?

Or are you referencing a song/lyric that wasn't part of the performance?

quote:

By your definitions anyone who pushes back against the direction of the modern culture is a snowflake.

More straw man engagement.

There was nothing controversial about KL like you can claim with BB

The fact we saw effectively the same behavior both year, with 2 very different musical acts, indicates this isn't about the artists themselves.

Hence the outrage-NPC culture on the right.

And just so we're clear, since we just had multiple strawmen creating this silly binary scenario, describing this outrage-NPC culture on the right doesn't mean the Left doesn't have their own It's just that this specific discussion is only discussing examples from the right.

Would you prefer they react to him like your beloved left reacts to Trump and Charlie Kirk, etc? Would it be less emotional to just call him Hitler and give him death threats or actually kill him? Nobody here is going to listen to anyone from the left lecture on about overreacting emotionally about anything.

Promoting a song on public airwaves with that language whether song at that moment or not, is unacceptable. His Spotify blew up the next day. That is not the same as an artist having other songs, that he did not sing, being vulgar.

As far as the straw man, you are the one that built that framework. When called out on it, you just claim straw man to wiggle out. You are engaging this argument like a lawyer. Avoiding the actual subject and trying to wiggle around any real discussion points.

I ask you this directly. If someone fundamentally agrees with the direction the pubic moral standards are heading, how do they engage that without being deemed a snowflake?
