Open borders is the only humane solution to the problem.
And then the American government can work with the countries down south and help build their economies which will help lower the poverty rate; which will help lower the crime rate; which will help lower the number of desperate people fleeing to America.
But no...America is too busy protecting the "freedoms" of its people from those evil terrorists.
