Remember this about Minnesota:

They have two Senate seats that will come up in 2018. The Democrats are scared to death that the Republicans could take both seats. Hillary Clinton only won Minnesota by 1.5% last year.

After a month of brow-beating from dems over Moore and a bunch of hedonists who have nothing but contempt Christ telling us what bad Christians we are, suddenly become a-ok with a repeat offender of sexual assault being in the legislature. Funny how that works.

"The senator has been spending time with his colleagues as he comes to terms with leaving. He made a surprise appearance last Tuesday night at the Bible study group of Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.). Franken had never attended before but joined at the urging of a colleague who suggested it might help him."

Sounds like Franken has found Jesus!

I am all for Franken staying in the senate. He implies that he is innocent for the most part, saying flat-out some of the acquisitions are untrue, and that some of the other events he "remembers differently." An innocent(?) man should not allow false allegations to tarnish his reputation, and destroy his career. If he is innocent, like he says, he should fight these women with all the energy and wherewithal he has.

We are in some dangerous times where mere acquisitions of sexual conduct can put a man's life and career in jeopardy. Every man in America should hope Franken fights back. Men of every political stripe should also applaud Tavis Smiley for fighting back. I assume the ones that don't fight back, are either guilty or they are too pussified to even care about.

This is just one of the pictures. He's caught red-handed. No excuse.

It is sophomoric. It is immature. But god help us all if this passes as sexual harassment these days. The forced kissing is one thing. This picture is just silly.

No they won't.

We'll see. Their pressure was one of the things that finally cornered Franken into stepping down. Before they started making noise about it, Franken was holding firm.

Can't wait until they shove a camera in Gillibrand's face about this

She went HAM on Conyers so if she backs off on Franken, she's gonna start a Dem race war

That’s passed as sexual harassment for many years now. That would get most government or corporate workers fired.

After Conyers got forced out the Congressional Black Caucus was one of the loudest set of voices calling for Franken to step down. If he doesn't, they are going to be piiiiiiiiissed. It would make for a great opportunity to work on some Trump and/or GOP outreach to them.

Blacks consistently vote in 90% blocks for Democratic candidates...but remember, President Trump getting 55% of whites was a "whitelash."

Yeah that's bull. I don't think what he did was all that bad (assuming we know the balance of it), but he should keep his word.

But now that he's resigned, he and Dems would be stupid not to honor his promise to step down. If he stays, this is one huge mess.

If he stays, he couls till have enough support to win the party primaryb in the next election, before losing to a Republican in the general. In a place like MN, that might be the only scenario in which a Republican gets elected to that seat, but it could really happen if Franken stupidly stays.

This reminds me of when Weiner refused to resign or drop out of the mayor's race. His narcissism and precious little ego won't allow him to accept reality.
