lol.
you are going to giddily vote for that to happen here. Then, in complete denial with a touch of Stockholm Syndrome, wag your soft little computer finger at the rest of us for being "uneducated".

Europeans don't have a Constitution as we do.

They do. England is the one who doesn't.

But they don't have the same rights in their constitutions.

They basically have no protection from whatever their rulers decide.
They sure the frick don't have a 2A and I doubt their citizens have the will to fight off what's headed their way.

Sure, but what does that have to do with the dishonesty in the tweet/article/OP?

Your post I'm quoting now was in response to me pointing out another lie, which has nothing to do with the constitutional protections of various EU citizens.

Look at all the responses to this completely bullshite OP and you'll see exactly why I stay around here to point this bullshite out

Eventually all the spreading of this kind of bullshite will lead to something awful happening and a self fulfilling prophesy of sorts and harsher crackdown on free speech will occur. Some of what is happening in the UK can be blamed on non sense social media posts. I know folks will chime in saying the crackdowns on free speech are already occurring but shite "news" like this just perpetuates the cycle. And it not just for clicks. A lot of it comes from countries that want to see chaos in the West.

I predicted roughly 10 years ago that speech was the next frontier for left wingers. I have not been wrong.

Is it really a surprise to anyone that it’s Germany that would be leading this dystopian charge?

To everyone having an emotional reaction to the Tweet in OP: You are being manipulated to react that way.

You might be correct.

However, the left is very open about shutting down opposing viewpoints. If you posted anti-left narratives in 2020/21 regarding covid, you were banned from websites, silenced, even subject to losing your job.

Cancel culture is real and has real world consequences.

People in this country are being jailed for having conservative views already. If the commies win in November it will be escalated exponentially

Again, nothing about "non-mainstream content", "anti-establishment views", or even social media.

Governments lie often, and effectively with impunity. If you recognize that, then you need to apply critical thinking in these cases, and make inferences based on historical data AND current political climate. This is a tactic that basically says “we know what you likely intend to do”, and “you need to clarify your intentions… be more specific”.

Regurgitating what governments say and accepting it at face value is lazy and dangerous. Even if the initial interpretation is off, casting a critical eye, and the resulting discussion will at least lead to some clarification and getting folks “on the record” at worst, and pivoting away from bad policy at best IMO.

Marxists and Nazis never believed in free speech. That's why they built gulags and concentration camps.

So yeah this Tweet was proven to be a lie, but what you have to do is believe what I believe, regardless of facts, and ignore facts and use "common sense" instead

Lying about reality to evoke emotions from emotionally-primed NPC is more dangerous.

quote:

Even if the initial interpretation is off,

There is no interpretation. It's an outright lie.

As I told Lucky Tiger, you can't discuss policy on rational terms when the emotional priming has worked as intended.

Just like the initial quote in this post. You want this to be true, so you will add whatever layer above reality is necessary to permit you to still believe it. At that point facts, truth, and reality doesn't matter, so how can we discuss an actual policy proposal that's set in reality?

They will use federal agents in red states. They won't need local police.

You come across as naive, but it’s obvious you just love to argue. Carry on.
