The problem is that the tariff policy is hyper manic without vision. If there was a problem with countries “ripping us off” Trump should have approached it like an adult. Instead he used ridiculous rhetoric and lies when he rolled them out and in addition, threatens using tariffs as a weapon against anything he doesn’t like from a country.

Tariffs have brought out the absolute stupidest takes on this board. It's been amazing to see.
Every time I hear Trump speak about the tariffs, he brings detailed historical precedent and valid economic analysis on the topic. On this board - "MUH TAX ON THE CONSUMER!!!!!!!!!" followed by that dumb quote from Milton Friedman
