Glock Switch Taskforce: Why Not?

Let’s test the theory that people in the Trump administration actually read this site.
DOJ should set up a Glock switch task force with ATF and FBI to target communities with high incidences of gang related shootings by charging federal gun crimes.
Imagine a young ruffian being let off on bond by a crappy state judge and then being scooped and charged with federal gun crimes that only require proof of possession (obtained physical evidence, Tik Tok, Instagram) and carry a 10 year sentence. You could transform Chicago and New Orleans in a weekend!

Why not just target individuals who openly display their firearms on social media while out on bond regardless of neighborhood if they are in violation of federal gun laws?
It will probably result in people engaged in gang activity anyway, without the potential blowback of only focusing on certain neighborhoods.
