Yup. Pragmatism over partisanship. Good work Abby.
Yes… I’m sure Abby isn’t partisan.

How much would you see it increase?

Spanberger is terrible. Would not answer debate questions but Winsome Sears was worse.

She’s a bad candidate
But Jones pretty much confirms VA and the NOVA federal employee base is irredeemable and we should obviously treat them as such

It’s all tribalism at this point. Nothing else matters. Also many (many) ignoramus who believe everything they see in the MSM.
But, mostly tribalism at all costs.

I would like to see it decrease significantly. The national debt is a major issue that is hardly talked about by either party. It needs to be addressed.
Trump ran on reducing it. DOGE was supposed to cut trillions......none of that happened.

Uh, square that with your support for a vile candidate for governor who believes the opposite

I mean Trump and MAGA took their jobs away. What did you expect?

If only it had happened sooner

Virginians should recall their state motto: Sic Semper Tyrannis though I'm confident that they don't know what it means or the context

They are likely going to add 3 Dem house seats after they gerrymander the map

It appears you do not know much about the new Governor of Virgina.
Fiscal Responsibility: Spanberger is part of the Blue Dog Coalition, a group of moderate House Democrats that has consistently called for "tough decisions" to put the nation on a path toward a balanced budget.
Preventing Wasteful Spending: She co-sponsored the bipartisan Preventing Improper Payments Act, which aims to prevent waste, fraud, and abuse of federal funds by establishing safeguards for new government programs. This legislation was supported by several taxpayer advocacy groups.
"Pay-As-You-Go" Rules: Spanberger has urged House committee chairs to follow "Pay-As-You-Go" (PAYGO) rules, which require that new spending be offset with corresponding cuts or revenue increases to avoid adding to the deficit.
Opposing Unfunded Legislation: She has pushed for the consideration of potential costs and "pay-fors" early in the legislative process, asking that legislation not advance without a CBO (Congressional Budget Office) score.
Addressing National Debt: In a joint letter, the Blue Dogs, including Spanberger, stated that it is "fiscally irresponsible" and "morally reprehensible" to burden future generations with national debt and urged Congress to produce a budget that addresses the fiscal crisis.
I could go on but you get the picture. We need more people like her in the House. Too bad she has left to be Governor.

Outspoken advocate of billions in wasteful climate change spending, leading supporter of build back better, supported by the largest unions benefiting from federal largesse
Such a principled fiscal responsibility candidate
