Why not gender? Sexuality? Sexual identity? Religious freedom? Right of self defense? Clog dancing?
Based on the slide, the bolded words likely fall under "equity." It's an exception because they say so. They've simply declared that those things are not up for debate...they simply ARE human rights issues and not political ones that can be debated...so they are fine. Everything else, most specifically any statement that would be designed as counter to these exempted items are obviously not ok.
Put another way, they have instituted thought rules to protect thoughts they deem acceptable and to punish those which are not. They get there by defining some as political and others not.

What’s speaks to “equality issues” better than All Lives Matter?
That is literally, and I mean literally in the literal sense of the word, one of the most pro-equality statements one can make.
It’s almost like BLM isn’t actually about equality.... hmmmmmm

Most blacks don't support the BLM anarchists. Most blacks do not want to defund the police.

Will be a bad year for Goodyear. May have to sell the blimp!

Well when people are trying to take the fruit of your labor to lead a good life requires actions to deter the behavior. So anyone that aligns with those trying to destroy your good life should be destroyed themselves or injured enough to get them to move on.
So people taking the fruit of your labor is taxation, no? When has man ever lived without taxation? Here is a clue, never, at least not since we started civilizations beyond clans of families living in caves...and most of those people probably kicked up to someone stronger and more willing to force them to do so. When has man lived better than we live today with a modicum of effort? Again, never...so all of this seizing of the fruits of our labor, a normal state of affair for mankind, happens to coincide with the best period to be alive in the history of mankind. Strange that.....

They may well be. But you're warped definition of them still won't be accurate

Do you really think you are smarter than everyone else? Clearly taxation is part of being in a society but continued expansion of taxation when the money is intended for non-contributing members of the society is not the same as expected taxation.

give me the numbers of what gillette really lost according to you....or gained since you've fled from any discussion about it....i really wouldn't know.
I'm sure they've measured it internally, but they haven't publicly disclosed that. They scrapped the campaign, so I'm sure it wasn't a winner for them. Of course, no one argued it was a winner...
I can, however, look at the YoY revenues of the Grooming/Shave Care division in P&G's financials and tell you that 8B is a stupid number to throw out for decrease in revenue.
You then tried to throw out the impairment charge to Gillette in support of your 8B number, which is equally ridiculous. For one, an impairment charge is a discrete item. For another, taking the 8B as a measure of lost business for Gillete is to ignore the fact that their "impairment cushion" had been falling steadily for several quarters before he campaign even aired. That's really not surprising considering many felt P&G overpaid for Gillette in 2005 and the entry of new lower-cost players in the market--namely Harry's and DSC--since the acquisition.
But hey, "muh 8B in lost business" from an ad campaign, right?
quote:
also, since you assumed that i said that 8bbn would be lost to either gillette or goodyear, use your expertise on what you think goodyear MAY lose or gain from this move. don't puss out on this since you've canvassed that you have to goods to deliver the facts. Don’t leave us with a “ you wouldn’t understand”
Your guess is as good as mine. Scratch that. You're throwing out a number that's 1/2 their revenue, so clearly your guess sucks.

You made a post this long in this kind of thread.
What the hell do you do all day?
It took about 10 minutes.
I spend most of my day on the phone answering clients questions about their projects or in meetings providing the same kinds of answers and ideas. I get paid to think critically and believe it or not get paid well for it...and have since 2006. I can do it from anywhere on earth with a phone system most of the time and I have clients calling wanting to do business daily. Life is good!
I used to be in a 12 hour a day 6-7 day a week grind where the only time not spent actually working was when I was in my truck going from one project to the next. I saw the light and realized there were plenty of people willing to do what I was doing and someone could channel that into a right lucrative niche for themselves...and did just that. For the last 14 years I have had the luxury of answering only to people I choose to answer to and I make my own schedule...and my earnings have never suffered except for the first 9 months or so.

I love equity.
I worked for a company in Seattle, and back in 2000 or 2001, they forced MLK Day down our throat, in the name of justice. It had never been observed before. We had maybe 20 black people in a company of 2000. They added the holiday, and took away a day of Christmas holiday. When asked if we could use it as a floating holiday, so we could travel to be with family... we were chided for being insensitive. Then, they sent a note letting us know the building would be locked on MLK Day so we could celebrate. No access.
Of course, Seattle went off the rails even further, re-naming King county after him, even though he had been there...once. I loved that town. But man, I can't fathom ever going back.
Equity. You'll take this holiday that doesn't mean anything to you, and like it!

Sounds like one of those clickbait profiles from comment sections “make XYZ/week working from home!”

You think Gillette lost 8B in revenue?

Yeeaaaah that's not 8B in revenue.

Mhmmm. If you have people reporting to you. That’s like five dollars answering to 50 cents.
I knew it.
I knew you got offended by the number of 8bbn and tying that to “Gillette lost some money”.
