I never said anything about how anyone refers to themselves.
Most of the people from the countries you listed are Caucasian, and would be considered white. Of course, especially in Northern Africa, there has been some mixture with Africans, so it does vary by person.
The word "aryan" as in "aryan race" is rooted in the word "Iran"
I know lots of Lebanese people. They are 100 percent white Caucasians.
It's not just about skin color. It has to do with facial structure, hair and other physical characteristics.
The world has tried to move away from the Caucasoid, Negroid and Mongoloid (and some include Australoid) categories, but they are still the true racial categories. Everything else is an ethnicity.
