The Atlanta suburbs keep getting more and more minorities and Illegal Immigrants and the city of Atlanta is getting whiter and whiter by the year. Who would’ve ever seen this coming back in the 1990’s

The big cities 20 years ago tried to model themselves after Europe. The cities in Europe are nice but the suburbs are where the numerous problems are.
Now here...Housing projects and section 8 have been set up in the suburbs and even rural areas to create future gentrification neighborhoods in our big cities. This is a 2 for 1 by the democrats. You send tens of thousands of Democrat voters to republican districts saying they are your problem now. If you choose not to take them good luck getting funding. Never mind that these people with the shite tickets won’t better themselves and ruin your cities. The huge bonus as well is many of these city politicians or their cronies bought land/property dirt cheap in the bad neighborhoods then sell them off to developers for sick profits. As long as there are idiots that will pay 600k for a condo that is just blocks away from crack dens and violent neighborhoods, this trend will last quite awhile.

The actual city of Atlanta has experienced a massive demographic shift the last 20 years. People that willingly stay out in the burbs in Gwinnett and Cobb at this point are fools. Both places are trending way down. I’d either move out towards Cherokee or even further north or into the city of Atlanta proper. I have been in the city 16 years now and it is only getting better by the month.

The state of Georgia has offered free photo ID to every resident since the law mandating ID for voting was signed into law.

Lilburn’s prime was from 1985 to about 1998ish or so. Was awesome during that time. It’s a shithole now. The folks who still live in Cobb only need to look at the current Gwinnett to see their future. It’s a shame but things change.

bullshite. I owned a condo in Midtown for years, purchasing long before the neighborhood became so desirable and completely regentrified. I never saw the crime that neighborhood is experiencing now. My friends complain daily about the shootings and murders happening almost daily around them. The police presence is virtually non existent. The same goes with parts of Buckhead.

Sure pal. Buckhead has seen massive crime recently. Come on over to the Eastside and tell me how awful it is. I’m in Inman Park and it is fricking fantastic over here. I don’t have a worry in the world. Maybe you should try not being such a feminine cry baby?
The Atlanta suburbs are turning into one giant shithole. It doesn’t matter what direction you go in. I really feel bad for people that are stuck out there.

That’s the price tag of moving into a gentrified area. I can’t say this for Atlanta as I do not know the city, but this is a common complaint from the yupsters that try to gentrify parts of Chicago’s west side, Detroit along Woodward ave and Philadelphia near Temple University.

Umm yeah, the city allowed Phipps Plaza to be looted last summer. Not sure why you're defending anything about Atlanta. It will be one of the first cities to be burned to the ground.

Parts of ITP may be turning more caucasian, but these caucasians have uber liberal voting patterns. The majority of ITP white precincts in Fulton and Dekalb were 90%+ Biden.
Forsyth County actually had a precinct go for Biden in 2020.
North Fulton, South Forsyth and East Cobb have turned into Indian enclaves. They vote heavily liberal democrat.
The Atlanta burbs have changed politically because of demographics not because the Republican party has turned off suburban voters.
