The thing about the Regiment guys is they take the “quiet professional” part extremely serious. That’s why there has been 1 book ever written by a 160th guy and he is pretty much PNG on the compound.
Understandable. For one you don’t want public the successful tactics you use. 2. What those guys do are what most would consider suicide missions, yet they perform them and accomplish them with minimal casualties. They are put into the real shite, and do the jobs that are most important yet the most dangerous and require the most extreme of tactics. I imagine it’s not something they want to talk about. I have the utmost respect for these men and the work they do, and the weight they carry on their shoulders. It’s fascinating to me how a human can be so incredibly effective and deadly like they are. To them combat is as routine and professional as a white collar man typing up a report for his boss. Us regular citizens cannot comprehend or appreciate their work and sacrifice enough

The White House Press Secretary pointed this out to everyone and urged them to read it.

Seems propaganda-y but I’ll allow it
Oh for sure. A little too movie scripty, but the guys who carried out the mission are the best in the business. Incredibly executed.
