I hate to say this but the only way to decouple from the China will be a hot war.

Its complicated, but to simplify:
1. China will soon have the largest consumer market in the world. Every established company that has plateaued in the West sees China as the only new avenue for growth.
2. China is ruthless in stifling criticism and will retaliate by stealing IP and blocking access to their market.
3. Many leftist secretly admire China and see it as proof of concept for Marxism, conveniently ignoring all of the terrible human rights violations and lack of diversity.
4. China has made a concerted effort to infiltrate and influence every global institution and corporation.
5. A large portion of globalist see China as a way to reduce USA hegemony.
6. China has an unprecedented amount of dirt on a lot of prominent people.
