The crazy part is there are 11 other churches burned in France this year. I wonder how many empty churches in France need restoration at a time...

The French government.
Like it was said elsewhere on other Notre Dame threads - they could have footage of a Muslim wrapped on an ISIS flag throwing molotov cocktails on top of the roof and they will still say it was a construction accident.

Could you give me the number of attacks by "white nationalists" or Christians "in the name of Christianity" in 2019?
Man, you sure got me there.

Fire was just put out, investigation is still ongoing but they know already that arson and terror weren’t the culprits. What evidence would lead them to that conclusion so quickly?
Witnesses? Confession?

It's France. It's illegal to even speculate as to who may have done this and for what reasons. The implication alone would constitute hate speech over there and result in jail time.
Welcome to Europe.

I raised the same question in another thread. If there was a confession or an eyewitness account, why wouldn't they include that in the statement saying it was construction related? This is exactly how conspiracy theories start. Being ambiguous about the destruction of one of the most important sites in Christianity is the absolute worst thing you can do. Especially when your country is in the midst of a rash of church vandalism

Yeah, you are probably correct. This does not however fit with the normal pattern of TERRORISM. Terrorism usually goes for body count, human suffering. At the end of the day, ND can be rebuilt.
The rash of church burnings in France (if it is a statically anomaly) indicates this is probably a Frenchy with a gripe against the Catholic religion. Absolutely nothing points to this be the Mohamadeans….

My understanding is those were saved.

Perhaps, but I don't think they have linked the other church burnings to a group/person yet so who knows if they're related. I just think it's completely foolish to be ambiguous at a time when there is absolutely no faith by the French public that their government is being honest with them.

I saw a report that the fire started in two areas. Not sure if real, but if there for started in two places and they are calling it an accident, that would seem fairly odd.
Unless there church knew the Clintons and was trying to commit suicide where someone can end up shot five times and still have it called a suicide...

What are some Christian sites they've destroyed recently? I'm not talking about statues from some dead religion, I mean holy sites that are revered by Christians today? Maybe respect isn't the right word, but they certainly don't want us getting any similar retribution. We could wipe Mecca off the map today if we wanted to.

The one where the organ was damaged was attributed to a Pakistani migrant... Of course they did not mention his religious affiliation...

This is exactly why people think this is a nefarious act. The French government and press give every reason for the public to think they're being lied to

I encourage you to go to France and actually live there and interact with the wonderful Arab Muslim population. Let me put it this way, the government goes out of their way to protect their Arab and migrant population. They can literally break into your house beat the shite out of you but God forbid you actually take a swing and break the nose of one of your attackers, YOU will be charged with assault not the people who followed you home and Assaulted you. That’s exactly what happened to one of our friends in Béziers where the Arab population essentially took over the city. You would literally think you were in fricking Baghdad with all the kebab shops and hijab wearing women around. You couldn’t go out at night because you are harrassed and if you are a woman, it is common to be raped. But it’s never reported because the laws in France almost crucify a woman for claiming rape against someone to the point it’s not worth it, that and the government bends over for the Arabs anyways. If you truly believe that the Muslim population is basically just as peaceful as the native population you are retarded.
