That is quite the transformation.

From goose-stepping leftist to ultra-MAGA in 6 years. Good on him.

I remember when Toddy went from being “WOKE” to actually being “AWAKE.”

I just hope that regret has turned into resolve.

Never jobless, not a wife, I regret not fighting the jab but it was required where I work. My mom an ex girl would go round and round about it. I ultimately got vaxxed because of work and cabin fever, we wanted to travel.

That's an inevitable result of telling a sizeable portion of society that essentially every problem they have is because of a particular group of people.

It was shocking to me to see how dysfunctional our society has gotten, and how quickly that has happened.

Conservative or Republican bc there's a difference. Doubtful you're conservative if you just flipped but welcome to this side.

I was a Clinton Democrat, brought up with stories of JFK, over the last few years I have become more grossed out. Here’s why:

-What happened during the summer of love was wrong. Every American saw what happened. How can you be pro riot and destruction of property.
-Defund the police, see Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago, New Orleans. Who is in charge?
-I was brought up to believe in content of character, who are the real racists?
-I feel like I was forced to take a vaccine that was unproven.
-I realized the media is lying to me.
-I have seen free speech curbed via social media, as a young democrat I thought ‘frick you I’ll say what I please.’ And reveled in it. It pains me to think a new generation won’t have that.
-I don’t think men in drag are appropriate for children.
-We are the only country in the world that just lets people cross our border.
-I believe we have lost our American camaraderie and will to work, not right to work, the will, to make our collective society better.
-We spend way too much money (both sides) but this is outrageous.
-On what planet do we just let people run into stores, grab what they want and run back out?
-Maybe I’m old fashioned, but a man can’t get pregnant, for obvious reasons.
-All of the above and more, and the the hypocrisy of the people pushing it

Congrats on now being considered an extreme, far-right, white, Christian, ultra-MAGA nationalist responsible for the majority of terrorism and crime in the US.

Let's be clear here, the Biden administration isn't failing because Biden is succumbing to senility (and yes, I honestly believe that), it's failing because their social and economic policies (which are that of the Faaaaar Left, see: MMT) are simply wrong and as they continue failing they decide the best way to fix them is to double-down on them. To get just slightly more granular, they focus more and more on justifying their stances on "equity". The problem, of course, is that the equity platform focuses on equality of outcome over equality of opportunity. In other words, they are engaging in ever greater feats of trying to deny reality.
Doing more and more failure doesn't magically create success.

Aging mellows you. It also clears up a lot of preconceived ideas. I started out as a JFK Democrat, until he betrayed those brave Cuban Freedom Fighters on the beach at the Bay of Pigs. I was there when Richard Nixon lied to us on television. I saw Bill Clinton wag his finger at us when he told us,"I did not have sex with that woman". I saw my buddies come back from Viet Nam with broken bodies and tormented minds.

Three came home in a government funded casket. A Viet Nam War America refused to win. All those young men sacrificed.......for nothing. For a long time I've felt drawn to visit the Viet Nam Wall In Washington, D.C. But I can't bring myself to do it. All those names. What a terrible waste.

I am a Christian Conservative. I profess the beliefs of my parents. God, Family, Country. Provided that country mirrors my values. Increasingly it doesn't. All this uncertainty will be cleared up Tuesday, November 8, 2022.Then we will know if this country can be saved.

As for Me and My house, We will serve the Lord - Joshua 24:15

I was born in 1969. I was young and STUPID, and in 1988 voted for Jesse MOTHERFLUCKING Jackson in the dim primary for president.

It didn't take but a few years of experiencing life and the real world to turn my arse conservative. Now I'm MAGA as hell and can't wait for 4 more of the Donald, and then 8 of the Ronald to get this country back on track, if it's even possible at this juncture.

Congrats on growing up and realizing what's truly happening to the USA.

There are millions of Boomers like myself who were once old school democrats +30 years ago....they understood where the Democrat Party was headed and bailed out.

Even though I consider myself a conservative I identify more as a Christian America First patriot.

1) God
2) Family
3) The constitutional republic

When one realizes that our nation is being subverted from the inside out by Commie bastards, all of the points you mention suddenly make sense.

Biden was such an obviously bad choice that anyone who voted for him I will never trust.
