I had the inguinal hernia surgery like that. Wasn't bad at all. I was sore when I woke up, but it got better each day. The fourth day was when it really went down.

I climbed the stairs at home that night. They said at the hospital that walking and climbing stairs were good for healing. Obviously I couldn't walk as far I normally would.

They said not to lift over ten pounds or do strenuous activity for two weeks. Worst of it was not riding the bike to work. I started doing that while going easy after one week. Just kept a steady pace and got off and walked when uphill.

ETA: they pump your stomach with gas for the robotic surgery, and it seemed like the gas pains were the worst of the pain. Be sure to wear sweat pants. They told me to wear something comfortable and I wore the biggest loosest jeans I have, and couldn't get buttoned up to go home.

They do that at work for the employees. I don't get it. Who wants to give their employer money for a shirt so they can go around advertising for them?

Why? Are the people in the back so incompetent that it takes them this long? Why the wait? There’s are more than 2 people in the back as well. I can’t find the positive customer service in this situation.

For all the people dealerships have working in the back, only one or two do the oil changes. At Jiffy Lube every in there does oil changes.

Techs at dealerships don't like doing oil changes because they don't make much doing them, unless they get some upsells. Besides, they're more highly skilled than for doing oil changes and can do the higher value work. You wouldn't hire a highly trained chef to run a hot dog cart.

So they hire someone less skilled to do the oil changes. Funny thing is, the oil change guy is usually one of the highest earners due to upsells. Of course that depends on them having a service advisor who can make the sell. Though I will admit that in my time working in dealerships, I have seen some advisors do some shady things for upsells.

ETA: a lot of the techs also have more involved jobs they're working on and it's inefficient for them to have to keep stopping to do oil changes then starting back.

Yea.. it's like hiring an entire fire department and the fire department gets yelled at by the public for going to put out fires in buildings.

Having a fire department to put out fires doesn't mean we want buildings to catch fire so they will have fires to put out. We still want to prevent fires in the first place even though we have a fire department to put them out.

They all have this in it. It isn't some big secret, it tells you right on the label.
I thought this was going to be something from the Babylon Bee

It seems like paper towels have gotten ridiculously expensive lately. I've switched to napkins.

It feels weird to say, but Dominos has been the best of the big 3 for years now, and they used to be the worst.

I like their pan pizza. Used to like Pizza Hut's, but they got so terrible and greasy.

Why should they? For all the griping and complaining, people end up still watching the games.

They're not going to care as long as people continue to just shut up and eat their shite sandwich.
Hillbilly Hare, especially the square dance part
Hard to believe it's been 40 years already. I was in first grade and we were watching it on tv when it happened.
