agree. Anyone that waited for the debate to make up their mind has not paid attention to politics for the last few years.
literally the ONLY thing I think this board would agree on is that trump and Biden are nothing alike if not exact opposites. We have very different reasons for thinking that but we do still come to the same conclusion.

They had a story about it on the local news

There is your problem. Stop getting your news from the news. Use your own two eyes and brain and listen to podcasts from people who are waaay smarter than the talking heads and do their homework. Some suggestions would be:

Ben Shapiro (NOT BASED. super smart constitutional brainiac. Calls it like it is, regardless of party.)

Mark Levin (HIGHLY respected by both sides. Can smell bullshite a mile away. Been around the political scene for many years and has seen the same playbooks take many forms.)

Dan Bongino (I know, he’s super-based but bc of his law enforcement background, he has an uncanny ability to break down complex schemes and issues - like the Russia probe - and connect the dots like I’ve never seen anyone else do.)

These podcasts are terrific. And honest. Unlike the local news.

Agreed. It was disingenuous.

If it took you this long to choose between these two polar opposites youre not gonna vote anyway, you cant choose between anything, November 4th will arrive and youll still be staring at a jacket wondering if itll be cold outside the polling location

There’s a lot I don’t like about both.

Trump is thin skinned, immature, and an impulsive counter puncher. But the dude has balls and common sense and that’s what we need in the White House right now more than anything else. It’s the only thing that works vs the liberal media and cheating Democrats. Also this is not an election for prom king and which person you like best, it’s an election of 2 drastically different political ideologies.

I’m tired of repubs backing down and being polite hoping to get media and special interest groups to like them (newsflash : they never will). Do your job for the American people.

Do we all realize that American politicians have made a living using smooth, no feather ruffling manners and styles of speech. But look at what mess they have made of our government. Then along comes DJT, who vows to drain the swamp, using rough talk and a get it done work ethic to accomplish his goals. The swamp is in a turmoil. Everyday Americans are bewildered by a President who departs so strongly from saying soothing sounding words. But for those who do pay attention to results, Donald Trump, the rough speaker, is Donald Trump, the President who gets it done. Vote to re-elect Trump, and MAGA!

I'm very much in the same boat. I voted third party in 2016. Unlike what a majority of the posters on this board appear to think, I don't believe Trump's affect is good for the country. I know it's a level of showmanship that doesn't truly line up with his governance, but when half the country and many world leaders he's supposed to work with abhor Trump on a personal level, that doesn't make for good working relationships.

That said, when the bluster is removed, I can't argue with most of his administration's policy moves, and certainly can't get behind almost anything the Democrats stand for right now. I think the GOP has a post-Trump problem it will need to figure out regardless if he wins or loses. But for the time being I don't understand how most Americans can't just hold their nose, vote for Trump, and lie about it to their friends just to keep the current Democrat platform and it's peddlers out of positions of power.

This is our strategy too.

True, and that problem will be how to retain the "Deplorables" without seeming like a Trump copycat or Romney-esque pushover.

This may be one of the dumbest things I've ever read. Decisions based on emotion, rarely work out well.

When your mind and heart are in agreement AND you have a clear conscience, then you can make a sound and reasonable decision.
Never make a major decision with ONLY your heart or your mind, and never with an unclear conscience.
