Who wrote Rubio’s speech?
Marco did. He has been doing that since he was on the city council in Miami.
(Also, he has two major things going for him: 1) he’s untainted by Yale or Harvard and 2) the Chinese Communists have banned him from China.)

It's like we have 5 different Presidents right now!
Trump absolutely deserves a spot on Mt Rushmore - or even his own mountain where great POTUS from here on out can be memorialized.
Trump has accomplished more - with more internal sedition - than any governmental official in our history.
Washington is the only competitor, and I would actually rank him in first place on any such list - just because of the incalculable magnitude of that position at that time and the near perfection with which he performed.
But nobody can compete with the volume of accomplishments trump has achieved considering the political sedition he has to contend with. Lincoln would have to be considered here but his problems were easy to identify but the majority of them took themselves out of the USA game in favor of their own CSA dreams. I would still rank Lincoln in first place on a list oriented to disloyalty within the government.
Jefferson would have to be considered not only for the influence he had in our founding, but also for the vision he had for making the USA into the position to become a true world power. And I would put him in first place on that list.
There are others who could compete based on a singular achievement.
But there is not ONE of our preceding POTUS' who has had to deal the the enormous number of crises that had to be overcome along with succeeding in NEW initiatives that advance American interests. Nobody has had the decades long WAR staged by his political opponents and the national news media and the detritus left by preceding democrat failures.
With all his personal faults Trump still has the best interest of the nation as his foremost consideration - and is still having to ward off abject sedition from almost half of the governmental agencies he is trying to conduct.
If history has any regard for truth, Tump will be on the next Mt Rushmore in a leading position.

I agree who heartedly. Hell, I say just get rid of Rushmore completely. Half of the people on that mountain are traitors to America.
Trump stands alone as the best president we’ve ever had. He deserves his own face carved on the side of a big beautiful mountain, and only him.

-made massive changes to the food pyramid
-Phasing Out Harmful Additives: Plans include banning synthetic food dyes and closing loopholes that allow untested food additives.
-GRAS Standard Overhaul: The FDA is working to eliminate the self-affirmed Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) pathway, which permits companies to declare their additives safe without FDA review.
-Targeting Health Issues: Kennedy has identified ultra-processed foods as a major contributor to chronic diseases, including obesity and diabetes.
More positive change to the food supply chain has happened in the last year than at any other period in my lifetime.
There’s more to do but acting like we haven’t seen earth shattering changes in that area flies in the face of all available facts.

any cabinet position would certainly be a major step down and certainly beneath Vance.
I dunno about that - the VP has only one real responsibility = to be available and prepared to take over the POTUS spot in the event of calamity involving the elected POTUS.
I have no doubt Vance would be one of the few great VPs in that regard.
BUT - Rubio may have the better credentials for POTUS in that he has been in the 'decision making' and "forward planning" stages of the game far longer than Vance - and has had smashing successes in ALL of those real world trials.
Vance is a great spokesman for the correct political stances - but he has never been in a position to make the final decision. Rubio has been closer to demonstrating that duty admirably for over a decade already. Vance has a four years as POTUS and even though he has been spectacular in that spot is does not compare to the magnitude and quality of Rubio's demonstrated ability.
I would like to see Rubio as POTUS and Vance as State Dept leader, where he can, with Rubio's guidance, show his capacity to operate effectively on the world stage confront real problems with serious consequences.
THAT would make him a shoo-in for the successor to Rubio.

He is letting the pendulum swing back as hard as it wants.
The doomers can cry in their corners. He is doing exactly what we all wanted done. But in a way that it actually gets done. He is using planning, misdirection, prerequisite gates, the whole way through.

This administration is just as disorganized and incompetent as his first. Trump appoints people based on how much they praise him not what they are capable of doing. All he cares about is being ‘liked’.

You don't go to the grocery store? I see "no dye" stuff on the shelves now. Never seen that before.

What are you talking about? There are thousands of foods starting to do this.
Surely you didn't think that everything would change over night did you?

I honestly don't think Marco wants President or VP.. I think he loves what he is doing now. He's basically the president for foreign policy. He gets to do his dream job which is what he is doing now without having to worry about all of the domestic petty bickering bullshite happening on the domestic front
If that's the case....
Vance/DeSantis 2028

I’ve literally never seen those on shelves. Those aren’t standard Doritos, they’re just an alternate offering without dyes.
And yes, to answer your question, considering our government declared a health emergency to force everyone to get an experimental shot, I’d expect them to take equally drastic measures to remove the shite that’s in our food immediately and aggressively. Coca Cola actively produces a non-shite-filled Coke product called Mexican Coke that we could’ve immediately forced them to sell exclusively in America, but I’m glad you’re still this patient over a year in.
Your type is going to absolutely kill any momentum the party has gained. Normal, intellectually honest people are tired of frickheads like you on both sides of the political spectrum

The op is correct - the last few weeks have been home run after home run for this administration
Posted on 2/15/26 at 7:11 pm to FLTech
Those Doritos are still full of other processed garbage. They aren’t ‘healthy’ anymore than a coke with real sugar is healthy. It’s still garbage.
