Basically she and all the other democrats employing the "distraction" claim are just using a well worn version of the "false flag" meme. Interestingly our local conspiracists see the hands of the elite in every ME conflict, anything that has the potential to pull us into a wider war...but quiet on this one?

Honestly, I think it is/was being blown a little out of proportion. I saw images of people mostly standing around, some laughing. It didn't look like an all out assault on the embassy. A couple things being lit on fire is pretty much it. Having said that, that...combined with everything else Iran has done to provoke the US and how big of a POS this guy was, I have no problem with the hit. Most reasonable people don't.
