You would think the players union would be pulling these protesters behind the ear and telling them to knock it off. If you believe in something badly enough that you feel it is worth paying a financial cost for fine that is your business but when it is going to make every player in the league pay a financial cost at the next collective bargaining agreement because it has caused television ratings to drop which, for the want of a nail causes the revenue from the league's next television contract to drop which causes team's salary caps to drop which causes player's salaries to drop then you are doing more harm than good for all the other players in the league and that is all the players' business, not just the ones protesting.
